Armed standoff at Tacoma Mall (WA)

Two separate reports, one from my Dad and one from a friend... both at Tacoma Mall. Not being allowed inside, due to "someone inside with a semiautomatic shooting in the mall".
Large number of police on the scene, sealing the exits. Not letting anyone in or out.
Will post a source as soon as I have one.

Gang activity around the Tacoma Mall?!!? Shocked, I am (not!). /sarcasm
Someone else asked: yes, WA state is a "shall issue" state. Basicly they cannot deny you a carry permit unless you are a felon or legally insane.

Hi 2J! Still pretty thin on details.
My guess is gang turf. Things like this have been nearby the mall for a while. Was only a matter a time till one of the gangs decided to stake out the mall itself.

Heh. So it begins. One caller said that one of the shots struck a storefront near his wife. He said he saw a middle eastern male with a gun.
Another caller said he saw a caucasian with a gun.
Not sure if I'd automatically believe callers to a news show.

This reminds me of the shootings at the West Chester mall in PA. some years ago. A crazy white girl in a camouflage suit killed about five people.
