At least the security at GIANTS Stadium was "heads up" enough to be suspicious and question of a group of Muslims praying during a football game,in a sensitive area while President Bush was in the stadium,

Why don't these muslim a-holes pray at home instead of a sports event?

**he agreed to designate areas to pray at the football stadium and the nearby Continental Airlines Arena.**

Wonder if this area will be a prayer area for people of all faiths (read Christians) to use. Or, will the area be only for Muslims?

This was merely done to reinforce the rights of stadium security to chase groups of muslim men away from the stadium air ducts, which muslim men have recently decided is the greatest place in the whole world to gather and pretend to pray to Mohammed.

Yep. No doubt these prayer spaces are specifically located in places where the least harm can be done by a particularly devoted follower of the Religion of Peace.

of course not, just try and go to that area and conduct a catholic mass for example - and watch how fast they drag you off for "disorderly conduct".

this is a total PC cave in.

No Problem. Just put in metal detectors, xray machines, and make it bomb-proof.

Why don't these muslim a-holes pray at home instead of a sports event?

They have to pray 5 times a day so they can't always be at home.

It's even more difficult at a football game. There they have to pray after every touchdown and utter "Allahu Akbar" after field goals and extra points.

Takes time, ya know?

Why don't these muslims pray at home instead of a sports event I believe it is a timing issue; they are required to pray at a certain times of the day. To be perfectly frank during big games I often find my self praying.

Hopefully. Then perhaps you'll also have Asatruar (followers of the old Norse gods) offering up prayer by boasting and laughing loudly, drinking lots of booze and roasting a pig.

*THATs* a prayer room I'd pay real money to see!

What a load of bull crap!! I wish I lived there so I could start a boycott of the stadium. Appeasement only encourages Muslims to whine for more special treatment! When I saw that on the news this morning, it REALLY made me angry. It's no wonder Islam is spreading so fast. All of these ignorant people are legitimizing it by caving into them.

I heard on the local radio station that it will be open to all. When I go to the games, I'll be praying for the Giants not to go into a "prevent defense" when they are protecting a small lead late in the game.

Perhaps the fellow who holds up the ever present John 3:16 sign will be allowed to hang out there at half time.

We are De-Christianizing in public settings so we can now Muslimize in public settings.

How about the Muslims adapting to life in the 21st century like Christians have had to do and start modernizing their religion just a little bit like maybe praying morning and evening with a special dispensation for times when it's not really practical or even praying to themselves when it's inopportune to hunker down on the floor. Instead the rest of us have to make allowances and change our institutions for them. This stuff really isn't that hard to figure out.

The men said they had been praying, and said they believed they had been singled out because of their faith.

Well, you know what they say...Not all Muslems are terrorists, but ALL terrorists are Muslems.

I think that "service" takes place in the parking lot before the game.

I believe that would be Rockin' John Rollins you're talking about. I believe he's serving a long prison term right now -- for abducting a housekeeper in a California motel some years ago and holding her hostage during a long standoff with police.

You probably don't want him "praying" at your sporting events. LOL.

There isn't a Muslim to be found within a mile of Giants Stadium at most football games. The waiting list for season tickets is about 25 years long. The incident in question occurred under unusual circumstances because it was the Giants-Saints game that was supposed to be played in New Orleans but was moved to Giants Stadium because of Hurricane Katrina. It was still considered a Saints "home" game, so most of the regular fans of the Giants were not there.

I predict that this "prayer room" will never be used, and will be converted to a refrigerated hot dog storage within a couple of weeks.

We don't allow any Raider, Cowboy gear in our house. We also won't allow Dodgers or Yankee stuff either.

My youngest, now 5, had his hospital picture taken in SF Giants gear. I have also confirmed that my personalized license plate is available in Nevada - it is!

The room should be built of reinforced concrete about 50 feet below where they keep Jimmy Hoffa and have an airtight door.
