Yes. And the author continues to write good articles often packed with much historically proven to be acurate facts regarding ME issues. I used to read a lot of his stuff at Bendadore Associates web site where his stuff is often featured.
Regardless of how bad the congress behave, the writing is on the wall. We shall honor the downsizing issues as conditions permit. I am sure GWB would like to give a clean slate regarding Iraq to a future Republican candidate for POTUS. If anything it would show people the republican administration keep it's promises and ended up making all well from a very difficult situation.
