Tell me about it. If we go to the movies as a family anymore, we go to the drive-thru. $10 for a carload, we take our own popcorn, candy and drinks. Cheap night and we all get in for $2 each. :)

WooHoo!

He does this and I'll talk it up the way I've done TPOTC and Narnia!

This is wonderful. I wonder how Hollywood will explain it when this movie is a blockbuster?

Guys, we have to make sure that this movie goes off the charts.

The stories of some of the Special Forces teams in Afghanistan would make a dozen good blockbusters.

YES! I've always wondered why no one made a movie about the guys asking for saddles and ending up at the end playing that Afghan game on horseback with the goat!

I remember that posters and flyers were free for the Passion of the Christ - hopefully we can get posters and help with the free advertising for this movie and be a positive support system for Willis and our troops! I'll put up posters and hand out flyers if they're out there and gladly pay to go watch a positive film about our troops.

It would be great to see both Bruce and Mel Gibson make a movie together someday.

As someone who saw "Hudson Hawk" on the first weekend, I will pay lots of money to see that movie several times. Then I will buy the DVD.

Expect a "Passion of the Christ" blockbuster that will leave Hollywood experts aghast at the low and peasant-like tastes of the American public.

Randall Wallace and Mel Gibson set it straight with "We Were Soldiers" about Vietnam, now Bruce Willis is doing it for The Iraq War.

Good for Bruce.

Some libs with high degrees of inflammation will throw eggs at the screen.

And some vet with a high degree of attitude will kick his ass.

It's nice to have another actor I can support other than Mel. Bruce is definately one of the good guys.

I will predict the film is boycotted by antiwar folks, and there will be antiwar protesters screaming inside the theater while the movie is playing.

If so, then try to see the movie in a theatre next to a military base. That's how I was able to enjoy "Gunner Palace".

I am thinking the same. If he makes a decent film about the current GWOT, he will make a killing, and do the nation a service.

By this stage in WWII, how many movies had Hollwood already made, identifying the enemy, and uniting and focusing the nation?

Willis' movie will bring the current count to ONE.

I was predicting the exact same thing. Move over Mel Gibson, you have another great American coming to sit next to you.

Why not this one? Mel could be the director. He has already made a couple of war movies.

You have a good point, maybe some people can tell Bruce or sell Bruce the idea to have Mel Gibson to direct that movie.

Have any of you even been in the military to declare what is so "right"? There are good things and bad things going on in Iraq; both good soldiers and bad. Why are you so rabid for a single sided issue to pander to your needs? Why not both sides?

Exceptionally bad movie where Bruce plays a con man. I vaguely remember something about the Vatican and hang-gliding, what I remember clearly is wanting those 2 hours of my life back.

Both sides? Considering the media only really shows one side these days, I'm not sure why your so against showing the other side.

For every 50 Iraqi civilians you hear being killed by Islamic extremists, you don't see the 500 or 5000 Iraqis that have benefitted from what we've done there.
