Are we sure these photos were not taken before the book signing actually started?
I have got zero sympathy for Cindy Sheehan- but before I start rejoicing at her plight, I want to know that these photos were taken after her book signing had started.
Why? What I've never seen or heard anything about is her relationship with the object of her despair, her military son, BEFORE he was killed and provided a perfect foil for her self aggrandizement and the Left's opportunism.
I do not pity her in the least. I do pity her son's fate and honor his service and his sacrifice.

Little sanity check here. I submit she HATED her son, I submit that she loathed the decision he made, and everything he stood for. This is, and has been all about Cindy's need for attention.
Consider, isn't it amazing that not ONE sentence from a letter from Cindy's son has seen the light of day? Not one sentence of "Bush lied, now I'm gonna die"; I wonder why that is? Certainly, her son must have had feelings one way or the other about this war. I have yet to hear HIS words.
Secondly, why would her husband divorce her now? Could it be plausible that he is aghast at the audicity of his now ex-wife; for insulting and denigrating their son; so she can get some attention? Could it be that the pain of losing a devoted and loving son was antagonized by a wife who filled the husband's ears with "I told you so", as she carried on a personal tyraid after finding her son had visited a recruiter?
Maybe I'm wrong; but I'm pretty certain that I'm right.
I think that I might have bought a copy and had her sign it, so that I could go right out side and piss on it. But - that's just me I guess.
She doesn't get it yet. She's making excuses why people couldn't come -- one of them is 'people are in New Orleans helping Katrina victims.'
That was my first though, was this her waiting before the signing. I feel for any mother that loses her child but in this case I feel for the memory of a soldier drug thru the mud. I hope she did sit alone.
I'd have liked to have brought a few people with protest signs in there with me, and then keep asking very loudly where the "Rosa Parks of the anti-war movement's" fans were!
They routinely offered her up to the press via their regularly sent press release (along with a few other families).
Once they validated Cindy, they indoctrinated her with the views of the radical left. Pick any of the more disgusting things she has said, the far out radical left talk about "freedon fighters" and such and I'll point you to the group whose view she is parroting. She's been on the left wing vaudiville circuit so long as "the angry mom" that those are her applause lines.
And they have managed to isolate her. She speaks openlyu about how she has no friends from the days before Casey's death. She's lost her husband and her job. In an interview with "Intervention Magazine" they tried to bait her into saying Bush ruined her familiy too, but she went off message and said that she had abandoned them for the cause. Of course she didn't use the word "abandoned", she used the psycho-babble that "I can't be there for them because of my pain and my need to do this".
And as she lies and gets caught, she's a less than sympathetic figure. She lied to the McClelland Deputies about walking in the road, she called the Vacaville reporter who interviewed her after her meeting with Bush a liar. She called the reporter at SFSU who reported her "Lynne Stewart is my hero" comment a liar. She lied about the staff at Walter Reed meeting with her and supporting her. She lied about any number of critics who point out the Marxists in her core group of handlers, the people who set up and control these stunts.
I just wish she'd go away and deal with her grief privately.
Especially intriguing is the fact that there is not a word against the War attributed to him, or at least none has been publicized and you can bet it would be if it existed. The only thing we have is this pathetic cow carrying on and on - Nothing else. Very suspect IMO.

Nonsense! She has been a committed leftist all of her life if what her family says is true.
I'm not sure who was using who. I thought she enjoyed every minute of it.
