No, Morris, by conservative I mean a belief in limited government, strict constructionism, judicial constraint, our cultural heritage, etc., as opposed to the liberal ideology of a "living constitution", judicial activism, multiculturalism, big government, etc..

I am puzzled by your use of the word "theocrat". Do you think that anyone who doesn't believe in the ACLU's distortion of Jefferson's "Separation of Church and State" to be a theocrat? I could easily be convinced to believe that to be the view of the atheist and the leftist toward conservatives.

Are you implying there is universal agreement among scientists that there is unrefutable evidence evolution has occurred?

I am unaware of any physical evidence that has been put forward that would tend to suggest that evolution hasn't occurred. I am aware of vast amounts of physical evidence that suggests that evolution has occurred, including numerous successful predictions made by assuming the theory to be true. Anyone can call themselves a scientist and doubt evolution, but for their opinion to carry any weight they have to show the evidence that backs it up.
