Biden Admits to Seeing Same Pre War Intel That Administration Did.
MSNBC Meet the Press ^ | November 27, 2005 | Tim Russert, Sen. Joseph Biden

Posted on 11/28/2005 6:51:26 PM PST by ArmyBratproud

On this past Sunday morning's interview with Tim Russert on Meet The Press, Democrat Senator Joe Biden stumbled and bumbled an admission towards the end of the interview.

When Russert forced the question about Senators seeing the section of the National Intel Estimate that listed a caviat from the State Department questioning some of the intel, Biden got trapped. As hard as he tried to avoid it, he ended up giving an answer that shows that he and other Dems saw the same pre war intel as Bush.

And he admitted that it was before the vote on the war. Thus showing he and the other Dems are not sincere in their calls and are playing politics with the war.

There is a word for what the Democrats are doing -- LYING. New world out there folks, can't do what you did before, those days when the MSM served as your Democrat parrot and just retold the lies. The parrot has died.

The question is, will the MSM TV just follow the line and trash what is left of their remaining integrity? Tough call for the Democrat MSM, but no job, no business, could be bad. Following the MSM newspapers off the cliff might not be a good plan.

I really LIKE Wallace. He has a lot of guts.

Same here. I am impressed with how he goes after everyone - Rat or Republican -- with persistence.

Are you two acting as a team?

At this hour, it could be so by default. :-) It's almost 1 AM here on the East coast. I should be in bed.

Hey, get some sleep. You're going to be an unhappy camper in the morning. Sounds like something I do all too often.

If you look carefully at the '06 election, there just is NO WAY that the damned Dems can win a majority in either House

Of course they can! They do it all the time, usually brazenly, like here in WA state. They STEAL it.

IMHO: After finding and reading these reports there's no doubt in my mind combined with 9/11 the President did the right thing of going to war against Saddam Hussein.

Document 43: George J. Tenet, Iraq and Weapons of Mass Destruction, remarks prepared for delivery at Georgetown University February 5, 2004.

Source: http://www.cia.gov/cia/public_affairs/speeches/2004/tenet_georgetownspeech_02052004.html

In the midst of the continuing post-war controversy over intelligence estimates of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction program, Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet gave this speech in which he addressed "how the United States intelligence community evaluated Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programs over the past decade, leading to a National Intelligence Estimate in October of 2002."

In his talk, Tenet reviewed the "three streams of information" available concerning Iraqi WMD programs - Iraq's history, the inability of Iraq to account for weapons that it possessed at the time of the 1991 Gulf War, and information obtained after U.N. inspectors left Iraq in 1998. He also compared the estimate's descriptions of Iraqi WMD activities with what has been discovered by the Iraq Survey Group. He argued that "it would have been difficult for analysts to come to any different conclusions than the ones reached in October of 2002," but went on to say that "in our business that is not good enough."

Tenet also spoke about the role of U.S. and British intelligence in monitoring Libyan WMD, the activities of Pakistani nuclear scientist A.Q. Khan, and related topics.

MITCHELL: I think that I was confused about the timeline. We weren't all as focused on the timeline then as we really are now. And I think I just was confused.

Isn't that exactly what Libby is being indicted for?? Time to put her under oath.

I can see the political ads now....

Senator Biden, not known for his truthfulness or honesty, had this to say about pre-war intelligence....

He is damned both ways...and his party with him!

Smartest thing Bush and Rove ever did was to capitulate and let the dems have that vote.

I'm just saying Congress never sees the same intelligence as the White House, regardless of which party is in power in which branch.
