Close your eyes and let your mind drift. Now,just imagine for a second Hillary RODAN Clinton is President of the United States. Now, for the next second, imagine William Jefferson Clinton, as the Secretary General of the United Nations.

Dear God, the damage those two could do working together. We will cease to exist as the United States of America.

LOL at how, when Levin was caught red-handed, he immediately shifted into that old "Mission Accomplished" script, trying to distract Wallace.

Thanks so much for the transcript!

Did you guys read the part from Biden that he really wasn't voting for war- he was voting to keep Saddam in a box??????

"It wasn't the status quo, anti, or war, it was whether or not we were going to keep him in a box."

Well great news, Senator Biden- Saddam is in a box- we call it a prison cell!!!!!! Tada!!!! Mission accomplished!

I was on the verge of booting them all out, till the House took that vote and called the Dems on their 'war' games. So long as they stay tough on the WOT I'll keep them in power.

The Senate is another matter altogether. Warner resolution, Linds and McCain's amendments?

Basically it comes down to two issues for me overriding everything else. WOT and Judiciary. There are other issues that make me fume but these two are vital to the survival of this nation, and really, the world in the case of the WOT.

Filibuster still in play. Hearings delayed. Judges still in limo in lower courts. Frenchified poll sniffing backs masquerading as tough on security Republicans. Uh-uh. This masquerade isn't fooling anyone. The Warner amendment was the last straw. The WOT was the last reason to keep those RINO's and Co. in power. Now they are showing they are as full of retreat as the Dems, only in slow-mo play.

As a result the Senate is up for grabs. I don't think the base has decided if they will choose to keep the majority or not. It's really our call, unless the Reps get their act together and start keeping their campaign promises in there.

I'm not into predictions, but if the election were today I'd say we'd keep the House easily. Lose Santorum. Maybe lose a couple other seats and retain a bare majority in the Senate.

Chalk up success to us, the President and his Admin, and the House.

Dems' lost that charge because we all went on the attack with a boatload of evidence in visual and written document to disprove their lies.

next line of offense needs to highlight our impending victory, as well successes. We can win this battle too, it just will take longer than a few weeks to penetrate to the public.

IMO, they had better be planning a HUGE exploitation of the Dec. 15th elections and meaning behind them in context of winning the war.

MR. RUSSERT: This was made available to senators before the vote. Only six read it.

SEN. BIDEN: No, no, no, no, no, no. That's true, that was before the vote.

If the republicans don't make HUGE, HUGE, HUGE noise about this then they deserve the poll numbers they get. The Dems need to be shown for the liars they are, and if the republicans don't have the cahones to do it then they become complicit to the lies.

I don't have the Mitchell-Russert exchange, but this is just as good.

The Mitchell-Imus exchange went like this:

MITCHELL: I know the question now. I've gone back and reread it. And I frankly - I thought - I think that I thought he was asking about, did I know there was an envoy. But I know that I didn't know about Joe Wilson's wife until after the [Novak] column. Because when the column came out I went in to my producer and said - "Look at this. How the heck did we not know that?"

And at the same time we were talking with [Tim] Russert and everyone else. You know - this is a different part of the story that we didn't know about.

So clearly back in Oct. of '03, I screwed it up.

IMUS: Well, [Alan Murray's] question seems plain. "Do we have any idea how widely known it was in Washington that Joe Wilson's wife worked at the CIA. And you said that his wife worked . . .

MITCHELL: When you look at my answer, I said: "It was widely known - and we were trying to track down who among the foreign community was the envoy to Niger." So far, so good. Okay? [Quoting herself again.] "So some of us began to pick up on that. But frankly I wasn't aware of her actual role at the CIA and the fact the she had a covert role involving weapons of mass destruction, not until Bob Novak wrote it.

IMUS: Well, that part is clear.

MITCHELL: That's clear. So, what's not clear is that I didn't know about her role at the CIA until Bob Novak wrote it. And I obviously got it muddled.

IMUS: Well, what this suggests to me is that, you knew she worked at the CIA but you didn't know what she did there.

MITCHELL: Yes, but that's not . . .

IMUS: Is that fair? Did you know that?

MITCHELL: I didn't.

IMUS: Well, then - why did you say you did, Andrea?

MITCHELL: Because, I messed up.

IMUS: Oh.

MITCHELL: I think that I was confused about the timeline. We weren't all as focused on the timeline then as we really are now. And I think I just was confused.

IMUS: Did you ever have a discussion with Russert about it?

MITCHELL: Sure, after the fact.

IMUS: Oh.

MITCHELL: Well, I think Russert, conversations with Russert, obviously after Joe Wilson came out on "Meet the Press" - and we all talked about those 16 words. That's what we were focused on. We were focused on Niger, uranium, were there WMD? That's what the whole focus was. Not on his wife.

Then Joe Wilson's wife was mentioned by Bob Novak and it became a major issue when the CIA referred it to the Justice Department for investigation. . . . . [SNIP]

IMUS: I think the reason that there's a question about you, and I'm not patronizing you, but it's because the respect you have as a journalist and as a reporter.

MITCHELL: I appreciate that but I've got to tell you . . .

IMUS: I mean, [reporters are] very careful about what they say and when they say it.

MITCHELL: I have gone back over this, I can't tell you how many times. I was quite surprised to hear about it because it's inconsistent with anything in my memory. I can't find any notes that reflect this - this alleged knowledge. And so I was muddled on the timeline - that's all I can imagine.

IMUS: Have you been subpoenaed?

MITCHELL: No, no - not at all.

IMUS: Have you ever - have you talked to Fitzgerald informally?

MITCHELL: No - in no way. I was - I didn't have any knowledge about this. You know, one of the things that happened was that the Washington Post wrote an inaccurate story in the middle of this whole period, saying that I was one of the six people who had been leaked to before the Novak column. And that's how my name first got into this.

Which was not true. They didn't check with me. They didn't call me. I was in the office all day. It was a Sunday. They wrote the story on Monday morning.

If they have given up the "Bush Lied" meme it is because the White House came out swinging for all of about 10 days, the backlash against the Senate resolution of irresolution, and, most importatly, the 403-3 vote in the House, when they were called upon to put up or shut up. They ran away like a scalded dog. That's one fight they don't want to pick any more. They are gutless in their gutlessness.

There is a word for what the Democrats are doing -- LYING. New world out there folks, can't do what you did before, those days when the MSM served as your Democrat parrot and just retold the lies. The parrot has died.

The question is, will the MSM TV just follow the line and trash what is left of their remaining integrity? Tough call for the Democrat MSM, but no job, no business, could be bad. Following the MSM newspapers off the cliff might not be a good plan.

Document 43: George J. Tenet, Iraq and Weapons of Mass Destruction, remarks prepared for delivery at Georgetown University February 5, 2004.

Source: http://www.cia.gov/cia/public_affairs/speeches/2004/tenet_georgetownspeech_02052004.html

In the midst of the continuing post-war controversy over intelligence estimates of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction program, Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet gave this speech in which he addressed "how the United States intelligence community evaluated Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programs over the past decade, leading to a National Intelligence Estimate in October of 2002."

In his talk, Tenet reviewed the "three streams of information" available concerning Iraqi WMD programs - Iraq's history, the inability of Iraq to account for weapons that it possessed at the time of the 1991 Gulf War, and information obtained after U.N. inspectors left Iraq in 1998. He also compared the estimate's descriptions of Iraqi WMD activities with what has been discovered by the Iraq Survey Group. He argued that "it would have been difficult for analysts to come to any different conclusions than the ones reached in October of 2002," but went on to say that "in our business that is not good enough."

Tenet also spoke about the role of U.S. and British intelligence in monitoring Libyan WMD, the activities of Pakistani nuclear scientist A.Q. Khan, and related topics.
