Exactly, Arnold gave us some propositions that would make a change in the state for the better and Republicans decided they were too damn busy to bother to come out and vote.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, most of those types are from the third parties and unless they are busy trying to promote an unelectable person, they are not happy.

This is beyond the issue of supporting Arnold, bottom line was Arnold put several propositions out there to help us make a change in California. We were given the opportunity and took a BIG PASS. That most certainly wasn't his fault, it was the voter's fault. The Republican voters to be specific.

Wanting Unions to get signed permission to spend their members money?
Breaking up comfortable districts?

Those were great ones to vote for.

Only the lazy and leftists would vote against those things IMO.

I'm not complaining. As a matter of fact, I think things are going in the right direction. If Arnold had continued to be a faux conservative, it would have been a disaster. His move frees the party to oppose his shift in policy.

And conservatives like me who came out and voted, voted yes on those. I was not going to vote yes to give a man more power when he doesn't even use the power he has except to pass liberal, leftist crap. Most conxervatives see no difference in policy whether they vote or not. It's still all left of center.

The Gov probably did hire someone to help better deal with the libs because we as a party failed to give the Gov the tools he asked for to rule.

The point of this last special election was to vote ourselves away from the days of Gray Davis. We failed to do so...BIG TIME!

The Governor gave us a great opportunity and we of course managed to squander a perfect opportunity.

I wonder if this year the Republican party has even bothered to try and put all of Arnold's proposals in some form back on the ballot for 2006? They are pretty pathetic, so I doubt they are doing much of anything at the state Republican party headquarters.

That is so much crap. Arnold has pushed and passed legislation that Davis vetoed as too liberal. Spending has increased with Arnold faster than under Davis. I'd rather have Davis back, is more conservative than Arnold is.
