I know!!! Channel 3 here in the greater Sacto region interrupted their coverage of Arnold's screwey new appointment to show the smoking engine of that Tookie's buddies vehicle with 6 or 7 CHP's all aiming their guns at 'em!!!

Have they started running again? The engine looked pretty fried to me!

Still, 20/20 hindsight reveals that it was a mistake to take on the entire labor movement in the election. They should have worked harder to split them and isolate the radicals like the CNA.

The Sheeple still do not fathom that 14% of the labor force rules the state. Unless the economy tanks, they probably won't either.

No they don't. The numbers have been posted here so many times I can't believe you would say that or even believe that.

The entire labor movement and all their families connected to government employment came out.

Meanwhile all the Republicans were busy at Taco Bell eating their #8s instead of voting.

We can make an argument that the Republican machine of the state was nowhere to be found in getting out the vote, but the bottom line is Arnold gave us the opportunity in 2005 and Republicans screwed up.
Many like myself voted and reminded many others to vote, but overall, we sucked at getting our vote out.

We deserve what we get for being such a lame party machine in this state IMO.
It's our fault, and no one else's.

Well, I wouldn't beat us up too much. Taking on "nurses and firefighters" simply got their base all worked up. A relative of my lost a local election and in their small liberal leaning district 12k showed up, compared to 3k last mid-term.

I blame the S. team strategists in not working to divide and succeed, even if that would have meant concessions. This should have been against the free spending out of touch Legislature.
