I will settle for nothing less than complete victory...
Whoo Hoo!
God Bless your Marine
Thank You. He does Daily. :)
"Because of out military...people on the streets of Iraq are free to express their opinion"
This speech is like an All Star Game Homerun Derby!
If Osama is dead, then why is the war going on??? /s
NPR is also.
He just listed three characteristics of victory. They went by too fast for me to catch.
Bush's problem is he has no echo chamber. The "Media" people supposedly on his side are too busy showing how "open minded" they are by whining about "Why doesn't Bush fight back" or echoing the DNC talking points while lecturing Bush to "Do this or don't to that".
Frankly the Modern Conservative Movement has become so PR inept they simply cannot win anymore. The only people who understand how to play the game any more are Rush Limbaugh and Hugh Hewitt. You do not win anything when you mindlessly accept and repeat the other side's spin lines and assumptions as "facts". Our current punditry is simply too stupid and doctrinaire to know how to play the game.
Always amazes me how they all claim to worship Ronald Reagan while completely ignoring his 11th Commandment. Reagan knew how to win. Unfortunately his intellectual god children do not.
I jumped outta my seat when I heard that.
Yes, Dog. Absolutely.
This entire speech needs to be given either at the State of the Union Address during the national security portion or in the evening during prime time as a stand alone speech. Superb.
Is there any in the pipeline other than George Allen?
Damn right we will help them succeed, Mr. President. When I say "we" I'm talking about conservatives, of course - not moonbats leftists who want America to lose.
Pres: I will settle for nothing less than complete victory. Victory will come when the terrorist can no longer threaten Iraq's democracy, where terrorists can't use Iraq to plan attacks on America.
Says we will not turn that country over to the terrorists and put American people at risk. In the short run we will bring justice to our enemies, in the long run the best way to ensure security to our citizens is to spread freedom across the ME.
Touche ! :)~
When risking your life for a mission, last thing you want to hear is people questioning your mission.
Wants them to know the American people are behind them.
Don't fear debate, one of our rights to do so. And because of our troops, people in Iraqi have the right now.
American people want two things. Victory, then troops come home. Will settle for nothing less.
Victory will come when Iraq's democracy is no longer threatened. When Iraq is not safe haven to plot attacks. When they can handle their security.
America will not abandon Iraq. We will not turn it to terrorists and put U.S. at risk. Will be free nation and ally in the M.E.
Short run justice to enemy.
Long run best way to encourage safety is spread freedome across M.E. Seen it work before. WWII fougth fascism. germany and Japan are democracies. Cold War freedom defeated communism. Led to freedeom of eastern nations. Allies now. Yes! Thank you Poland and Eastern Block!
Hateful ideologies that use terror will be defeated by Freedom. As freedome spreads, they will becomes allies in cause of peace.
Folks, he is kicking butt now. Our strategy is clear, tactics flexible and dynamic. They are bringing us victory against a brutal enemy. Talking to the men and women and uniform now. Wants them to know that one thing is not in dispute. The American people stand behind them. Most americans want two things. They want the troops to win and to come home as soon as possible. He wants those things too. We will settle for nothing less than complete victory.
AMERICA WILL NOT ABANDON IRAQ. IRAQ WILL BE A FREE NATION. WE ARE GOING TO BRING JUSTICE TO OUR ENEMIES.
No argument there.
Dubya hitting on all cylinders, addressing all the moonbat handwringers.....AWESOME!!!
Bush at his best!!
"In the Cold War, freedom prevailed over the ideology of communism..."
...except in the Hollywood, MSM, and the Democrat Party
