INDIANAPOLIS -- An SUV plowed into a storefront in downtown Indianapolis late Wednesday morning.
The SUV crashed into a building that houses the law offices of Mitchell, Hurst, Jacobs and Dick at Delaware and Washington streets.
One person was injured, but the injuries were non-life-threatening. Police said approximately 35 people were in the building when the crash occurred. All of those people were uninjured.
The intersection was closed while investigators cleaned up the scene.

Maybe the SUV got screwed by its ex-wife?
As Rush would say, "Gotta be careful of those SUVs."
That'll teach lawyers to build offices next to busy intersections...
since it was plowing, isn't the Farming SUV protected?.. and its good to see all the SUV's haven't sold off the old farm, probably handed down from the model T original owners
Bad luck is crashing your car into a building full of lawyers.
What a crying shame, that was a nice SUV too.

Gee, what if they named the firm Mitchell, Dick, Hurst, Jacobs? |
I'd sue.
The radio said that three stories were damaged. That had to be some impact. This lady's insurance company is going to be signing some checks.
Well at least one 'story' definately was damaged.
The 'Indy Channels' account of it.
It's pretty blatant what the Indy Channel was trying to infer about the big bad 'SUV's.
The IndyStar got it right.
Or at least that is what their lawyers say.

Ooops!
Sorry about that.
I was just quoting the witness and didn't think the information would be 'copyrighted'.
FWIW Bill Hurst the law firm principal is one of the most active tort lawyers in Indiana with lots of television trolling for "victims"
You're right. (of course)
I quoted the reporters account of what the witness said and not the witness's actual statement.
My mistake.
Sorry again.
The relevant issue is where you found the quote and that you found it in a Gannett Publications article.
The originating source for a published story usually determines which, if any, copyright restrictions apply.

I just did and again I apologize.
Somebody's just GOT to do something about those unmanned SUVs roaming and stalking like that.
