In late January, I uncovered a password-protected Arabic-language website, Barsomyat.com, that was frequented by Middle Eastern Muslims, predominantly Egyptians. The purpose of Barsomyat.com was to systematically track Christians who were active in religious debates against Muslims on the internet chat service PalTalk. Barsomyat featured pictures of these Christians (some of which were obviously obtained by hacking into the Christians' computers) along with death threats and attempts to track down the subjects' physical addresses. Even Barsomyat.com's banner showed the website's intentions toward Christians, as it pictured a sheep--obviously intended to represent Christianity--getting its throat slit.

I got it to come up. It is a great article for critical thinking adults. Perhaps it is just swamped now.
I majored in history with a focus in medieval & Byzantine and did a thesis on Raymond of Toulouse (of the 1st Crusade). Doesn't bother me much either.
The funny thing about the Islamacists constantly referring to westerners as "crusaders" is that medieval Arabic had no such word, so the Turks and Arabs simply called all the crusaders "Franks" (i.e., French).
This is astounding...no it's stunning... it's leaving me flailing for a word.
So, Mr. Gartenstein-Ross has proof of this from the web site Barsomyat.com and the press has yet to make a peep about it. Paging GMA, CNN, FNC. For all the cracks made about bloggers perhaps someone could give us the heads up our lives are being threatened?

I wonder how that midwestern housewife taught herself arabic. I can't remember her details, but I saw her story on television.
Apparently, the mohammedens REALLY want to off her, too. IIRC she infiltrates their websites, gathers incriminating evidence, then turns the whole thing over to the FBI.
It would seem using the arabic language is their primary security mechanism.

Hebrew is right next door to Arabic, linguistically speaking.
Problem is they Hebrew speakers don't get hired because Moslem Arabic speakers at the CIA (or State Department) won't work with them. This came out after 9/11 when a Jewish group tried to offer their services and were turned down. I'll try to get a cite on this, but it's a busy day and I may not have enough time.
