Jewish Group Supports 'Christmas'

Comedian Jackie Mason and the Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation are fed up with the war on Christmas.

The newly formed group held a press conference Thursday at the National Press Club to defend Christmas and Christianity.

"Who is disturbed by the words ‘Merry Christmas’?” Mason asked a roomful of reporters via teleconference.

"Christmas represents love and brotherhood, friendship and happiness.”

Mason is also perplexed by the different treatment afforded to patently offensive forms of speech and religious expression. He noted that the First Amendment protects the right of the Ku Klux Klan to march.

"But,” Mason observed, "if the Ku Klux Klan was marching with a symbol that said 'Merry Christmas,' it certainly wouldn’t be allowed.”

JACD founder Don Feder formed the group earlier this year in an effort to combat what he sees as an attack on the Judeo-Christian foundations of American society.

Feder, a long-time editorial writer and syndicated columnist for the Boston Herald, told reporters it is time for Jews to stand up against anti-Christmas secularism.

"Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation,” he proclaimed, "is here today to say ‘enough already!”

"If you’re offended by a municipal Christmas tree or Santa in a holiday parade or a manger in a park, get over it,” Feder advised.

Feder worries that Christmas is "disappearing from our culture at an ever-accelerating pace.”

Evidence, he said, can be seen in both the public and the private sector – from towns refusing to put up Nativity scenes to stores advertising "holiday” sales rather than "Christmas.”

Earlier this week in Washington, Republican House Majority Leader Dennis Hastert "officially" changed the name of the Capitol Holiday Tree back to it's traditional name - the Capitol Christmas Tree.

The attacks on Christmas are designed to create chaos between Christians, Blacks, and Jews. It's designed to separate people rather than to unite, because the Socialists know a house divided cannot stand. By attacking Christmas, but allowing the other religions, they can get all religions to war with each other so none will be allowed - "For our own sake."
If the Socialist can manage to silence the Christians - the biggest religion in America - the other smaller religions can easily be silenced later.

In order to create a Socialist society, the current society has to be destroyed first. That way, the Socialists can come in as the "saviors" who can "fix it all" - even though they're the ones who created the chaos in the first place.

This is how they're destroying Americas health care. Hillary destroyed pharmaceuticals, and the trial lawyers are breaking the bank. Soon, if left unaltered, Socialism (i.e., a government take over of our health care system) will be the only "cure."
If you look at any government program today, you'll notice it was left wing policy that created the problem that had to be solved in the first place!

Good for them. I hope they will confront the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) and as well as their anti-Christian and anti-Christmas stance is an embarrassment to a lot of - probably most - Jews.

Somebody should tell TJMaxx about this. They refuse to use the word Christmas. They use the words Holidays and Hanakkah but refuse to use the word Christmas in their stores or in their ads.

A good way to counter all this anti-Christian nonsense is for people to put up a nativity scene in their yards or post a Christian message at your business where the professional easily-offended can do nothing about it.

I know of no Christian that complains of offense caused by the religious holidays of Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, Passover, Ramadhan, or anything else. There is no clamoring from even the ACLU to dumb down these days to "Fall Harvest Celebration" or "Spring Festival" or whatever. Such should obvious be the same for the religious holidays of Christmas and Easter.

Merry Christmas, y'all.

My experience has been that my jewish friends and
co-workers were generally offended by anything overtly
Chritian such as a clergy doing a thank you lord thing
before dinner. I don't know why that is as a person of
hindu faith myself. Saying Merry Christmas to my collegues
is a ritual I enjoy. I refuse to say happy holidays
during Christmas. And I want others to wish me a happy
Diwali in early November, NOT happy holidays.

Merry Christmas to all my GOP friends regardless of their
faith.

The Socialists are trying to start a war between Jews and Christians. If Christmas is not allowed, the Christians will demand Hanuka be removed to "make it fair."
Then, of course, Kwanzaa will have to go, because the other religions will demand it gone, too.
Presto! The Socialists will "have no choice" but to remove religious holidays all together - for the sake of the great collective.

I guess it happens, but I am Jewish and nobody I know is offended - especially not by a "Thank you Lord" which is about as universal a prayer or blessing as could be expressed - common to all religions that I know of and even non-religions - I know many people that have a belief in a Creator, a Lord, without identifying with or ascribing to a particular religion.

Perhaps those folks are Jewish by birth but are in fact atheists?
