At the John and Ken website (linked), the photos of three of Tookies' victims victims have been posted. It's said that this monster has mended his ways, but I don't believe he has even apologized for these atrocities. But even if he had, he needs to be held accountable for his evil acts. I TRUST THAT GOV. SCHWARZENEGGER WILL NOT SPARE TOOKIE FROM HIS DATE WITH DEATH -- HIS DATE WITH ACCOUNTABILITY.
I know it's all the rage to rag on California, but...er, um....Arnie has passed on the only two commutations presented to him thus far.
I hope you're wrong and I'm right, but I'm fairly confident that this is only a political lip service maneuver on the guv's part.

I don't care what this monster has done since being locked up. Nothing can make up for what he did to these people. He needs to die and I just wish it could be with intense pain. He didn't grant his victims any clemency.
If indeed Tookie has turned his life around and now and considers himself a voice against the evils of gangdom, then it would behoove him to take the needle as an validation of the resolve of his convictions. Ultimately, crime does not pay.
You mean Northern and Southern California as separate states. It's been seriously considered more than once.
As much as I oppose the death penalty, I could make an exception for this animal.
In the nearly four decades since Ronald Reagan granted clemency to a brain-damaged Death Row inmate, no California governor has waived a death sentence. And Reagan took action only because the latest scientific test to determine brain damage was not available at the time of the condemned killer's trial. Schwarzenegger has flatly refused to grant clemency to two other condemned murderers. Both times, he publicly declared that model behavior behind bars doesn't absolve prisoners of culpability for their crimes.
It may take them a while to die here but die they do.

When Owens was shot, one of Tookie's accomplices named "Blackie" vomited at the site. There are handwritten notes by Tookie in the stuff I posted last week where Tookie had planned to kill "Blackie" for getting sick.

This POS deserves nothing less than an agonizing death. If anything make him believe he will be spared and then stick him with the juice! Any person who thinks this POS should be spared is either a criminal or a bleeding heart liberal who can't fathom the concept of accountability.
Meanwhile, Richard Ramirez has been lingering on CA death row for 15+ years -- and was even allowed to marry.
I'm glad I live in TX. In the words of Ron White: "Most places are trying to figure out how to get rid of the death penalty. But here in Texas we're putting in an Express Lane."
He very well may do just that, we just don't know.
But the history of the death penalty in California is one that takes years, not one that commutes the death sentences of murderers.
