America’s Traitors: Hang ‘Em High (Murtha, Kerry, Dean, Rosenburgs, Lonetree, Garwood)

GUNNY BOB'S COLUMN DECEMBER 06, 2005:

America’s Traitors: Hang ‘Em High

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. Robert Garwood. Clayton Lonetree.

Four Americans with one thing in common: they betrayed their country for personal gain.

In the case of the Rosenbergs, the communist spies and traitors helped their beloved Soviet Union acquire classified intelligence at America’s expense. America’s loss and the Soviet Union’s gain equated to the Rosenberg’s political gain.

Robert Garwood, a Marine in the Vietnam War, was captured and then went over to the enemy’s side in exchange for favorable treatment.

Clayton Lonetree, also a Marine, passed on classified intelligence to the Soviets in exchange for sexual favors.

Note that America never declared war on the Soviet Union or North Vietnam, yet the Rosenbergs, Garwood and Lonetree were all charged and found guilty of crimes based upon treasonous activity: espionage in the case of the Rosenbergs and Lonetree, collaborating with (aiding) the enemy in Garwood’s case.

The Rosenbergs got their due, whereas Garwood and Lonetree got off comparatively light.

Today we have a fresh crop of American traitors. To the great humiliation of the legendary Marine Corps, one is a retired Marine Reserve colonel. Another is a former naval officer. The third is a medical doctor and former governor. All three have openly and brazenly aided the enemy by offering them encouragement and incentive to continue their war against America, and all three have knowingly and willingly insulted the American military and attempted to demoralize the very men and women serving in our armed forces, whose mission it is to defend the Constitution of the United States that guarantees the rights of all Americans.

Yet no charges have been brought against these traitors–Rep. John Murtha, Sen. John Kerry and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean–and none will, despite their hero status within al Qaeda.

After John Kerry aided the enemy following his service in Vietnam as a naval officer, he was declared a hero of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and even traveled to that nation to receive the honors. Until recently, when it became a political liability, his photo and award hung in the War Remnants Museum there. On CBS’ "Face the Nation" last Sunday, Comrade Kerry again aided the enemy, this time by telling host Bob Schieffer, "And there is no reason, Bob, why young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children . . . "

Naturally, the far-left Schieffer refused to challenge Kerry on this jaw-dropping claim.

Osama grooves on John Kerry.

Last month, in a continuance of his run-for-it doctrine we first saw in the 1990s with America’s attempt to feed the starving in Somalia, Rep. John Murtha gave a big leg up to al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al Zarqawi and Osama bin Laden, when he demanded that America retreat, surrender and then negotiate with the enemy.

Osama loves John Murtha.

And yesterday, in a radio interview, Howard Dean insisted that the American military was so incompetent and moronic that it stood no chance of victory against al Qaeda in Iraq. Absolutely no chance.

Dean is now on Osama’s Ramadan card list.

The outrageous statements of this treasonous trio directly aided the enemy by giving them marvelous ammunition in their recruiting and propaganda campaigns. That’s called knowingly and willingly aiding the enemy. In the case of Kerry and Murtha, because they have sworn oaths of allegiance to the United States, they are in violation of U.S. Code Title 18, Section 2381, "Treason," which is punishable by death:

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Sadly, Dean appears to be off the hook when it comes to treason because he has not sworn allegiance to America.

U.S. Code, Title 18, Section 2388 states in part:

"Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully makes or conveys false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies . . . Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both."

All three members of the treasonous trio are covered by this law.

Even more sadly is the fact that none of these collaborators will be charged. Most Americans simply don’t see treason and aiding the enemy as being all that bad. (This fact will be demonstrated once again by the hate email I will receive from those who loath me for citing the law and speaking the truth.) And purely for political purposes, there’s no way the attorney general of the United States is going to bring charges against them.

Kerry, Murtha and Dean have betrayed their country and aided the enemy for personal gain.

Somewhere, two ropes and prison cell are being wasted.

Its not first amendment territory when they are giving aid to the enemy.

"Its not first amendment territory when they are giving aid to the enemy."

That is a slippery slope. Trading with China is aiding the enemy by financing them. Buying oil from Iran is aiding the enemy. A lobbyist working for the Syrians in Washington is aiding the enemy. The NY Times and the MSM is aiding the enemy.

Clinton selling technology to the Chinese was treason.

Nuclear Option Ping

Slapping the donkey...

If you want to be added or removed from this list, please notify me...

Originally, the Nuclear Option Ping List started out as a practical joke. With all the vitriolic response I received from certain un-named individuals, I figured it would be a great idea to do it for real...

I have observed here on Free Republic, a never ending flaming of religious folks and conservatives by people who promote things such as drug abuse, homosexuality, the ritual murder of abortion and other garbage.

Not being an orthodox or ecumenical atheist, it has really stretched my patience. I do not think policemen are jack-booted thugs, nor do I look at people who want to protect their families from filthy scum as brownshirts.

The purpose of this is to alert people to the cultural Marxism run amok... Drugs, sex perverts, pornography (in film and in music), marijuana, liquor, bashing the religious people, destroying social institutions (like marriage and the Boy Scouts), etc., etc.,... ad nausea...

The druggies like the sex perverts can only perpetuate an ever increasing market for their filth by molesting the minds and bodies of the young ones... this is the only way they get new Demo-rat voters...

It is no coincidence Islamic pagans hate Israel, Jews, Christians and Western Civilization. The entire basis of Western Civilization is Mosaic Law, something both the Neo-Pagan Left and the pagan Islamic thugs cannot abide and wish to destroy.

The very idea that human beings have individual rights not subject to the whims of a monarch, but subject to the laws of Yahweh, is directly from Moses.

Historically, this is proven over and over again with the succsessive conflicts between the forces of paganism and the Judaic culture. It is being played out here and all over the world today...

Observing this as an atheist, I prefer the paradigm of a Judaic culture to the chaotic death cult of New Age neo-pagan absurdity.

At first, i thought the comparison with the Rosenbergs and the others was a bit over the top. After reading the article, I changed my mind.

Thank GOD neither Hate Powered Howard or Effin is not president.

It's high time this administration smack down these traitors. I am sick of what they are are doing and they will only get louder and more vicious in their attacks if left alone.
I would add former US Attorney General Clark to the list for defending that pig saddam.

I want to understand this for the next time a Democrat is in the White House: There must be no dissent when our troops are sent into combat. Do I have that right?

At least garwood and lonetree were honest enough not to pretend. They were yellow cowards and they acted the part. They didn't try to say what they did would be good for the country. murtha kerry dean and durbin are just cowards. They don't have the courage to truthfully say what their real agenda is.

I have been wondering why the deMARXocrats have been able to make such traitorous statements and not be prosecuted.

You left out McCain, his 'anti torturer' bill is just as bad.

We have FReepers willing to give Murtha a pass because he once served in active duty as a Marine officer.

As far as I'm concerned, that compounds his offense. It doesn't excuse it. If anyone should know what effect such words have on the morale of our Marines, Murtha should. He can't plead ignorance. His perfidy is deliberate and calculated.

Neal Boortz: Yesterday on the show a caller reminded me of a time when American "troops" did, in fact, knock down a door in the middle of the night and terrorized a child. It happened almost six years ago. Does anybody remember? A Democrat was in the White House, and the "Commander in Chief" of these particular "troops" was a female Democrat. The date was April 22, 2000. The terrorized child was Elian Gonzalez.

What the Democrats are doing goes beyond dissent. It is perfidy.

Whatever words uttered by a politician are calculated to undermine the morale of our men and women in uniform and buoy up the spirits of our enemies are perfidious regardless of the political affiliation of the speaker.
