Yes, Roe just keeps me laughing all the time.

It's Friday, 5pm, and I just hopped onboard The Carnable Wagon. Unfortunately, I'm at work for another 6 or so hours, so I have to strap myself to The Wagon tightly to hang on.

That Carnable Wagon, or Canarble, or whatever it is!

I went to one of their live shows once, lots of fun. They had the wagon there, rolled it up the aisle to the stage. Lots of bottles and silly old drink items on it. Entertaining show.

Jim Johnson, Roe's sidekick, claims that his father started calling his own drinks cart by that term, when he was so inebriated that he was slurring his words (which was apparently most of the time).

I'll bet! I heard parts of today's live show with R. Lee Ermey; funny stuff. If Clyde called in, I missed it.

That Jim Johnson looks in pics like he weighs about 57 lbs.

I heard only parts of the show today too, so missed Clyde if he called, which he probably did.

As for Jim J., a strong wind would blow him over, he's as thin as a rail! In photos he looks like he weighs 57 pounds, but you know photos add 10 pounds, so he actually looks like he weighs 47 pounds in real life.

. . .there is no practical way an air marshal could make such a determination within the few seconds he has to react.

There is not only 'no practical way'. . .the reality is; there is no practical reason.

People 'off ther meds' should stay home - or they can take their chances.

Unforunately, the only fatality was of a panicking man who wanted to get off an airplane.

. . .that is. . .a 'panicking' man; claiming to have a bomb as he is running. . .and who encounters air marshals. . .

. . .bi-polar; medically deranged. . .or a suicide mission. . .or all the above.

At least some of them, the people who actually witnessed the events, don't think the guy should have been shot.

Might these same people think that we need to treat terrorists more fairly? Might think. . .that Scott Petersen did not get a fair trial. . .might think John Kerry really was a 'war hero' and that algore. . .really won Florida?

There is a harsh reality here. . .shout 'fire' in a theatre; you might die a death by a 'thousand feet'. . .or go to jail. Medication notwithstanding. . .if someone yells that they have a 'bomb' or convey even the impression. . .act in threatening manner. . .you have a death wish ready to be granted. . .or just the completion of a suicide mission. Or should; if security is good.

Bottom line. . .the man chose to go off medication; and ride an airplane. . .and take his chances. And his wife went along for the ride as well.

Israeli security people discussing today; the choice here. Offered that if this had happened on one of their planes or in terminal. . .maybe three seconds, max. ..and this person would not be a 'survivor'. Security of this kind requires instant response; nothing less is 'secure'.

I'm listening to Santa Clyde right now, on Internet rebroadcast! First time I've had a chance to catch Santa Clyde (found the Roe Conn show just this year), and I wasn't disappointed.

"How y'all doin? Ho, ho, ho."
