I'm sure the fact that, two years after the world war 2 ended in Europe, there was still an insurgency (and no sovereign government in Germany) would have brought howls of protest from the current Democratic Party. Howard Dean and the Democratic Party is ideally placed to become assistant defense counsels to Ramsey Clark.

The Democrats, Reid and Kerry are doing themselves huge damage. People will remember what Dean and Murtha and Kerry and Reid have said over the past two weeks. It crossed a line; its the kind of thing you remember. 'Broken.' 'Defeated' 'Terrorizing women and children.' Now many more of those swinging centrist voters will know for sure the Dems are not to be trusted with the defense of the country. They have demonstrated it very clearly now and shown just how dangerous they are.

Call me a tinfoil-hat wearer if you may, but I still say that that photo was staged. Law Enforcement personel do not take kindly to photographers standing around snapping photos of them in action, especially in such close quarters as this photo seems to be.
