Don't be obtuse. Dogs share a very similar gene set (they are mammals after all). Chimpanzees share a 98% identical sequence. Those two things are vasty different.

Not to be disrespectful, but you're illustrating a problem in the 'advancement' of evolution. Namely, you missed the latest news, so you're still stuck repeating what they've told you before.

In fact, Chimp genome sequence is very different from man.
