Iran's Ahmadinejad casts doubt on Holocaust, Suggests Israel Be Moved to Europe
Reuters ^ | December 08 2005 | Paul Hughes

Posted on 12/08/2005 7:46:41 AM PST by kress

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday expressed doubt that the Holocaust occurred and suggested Israel be moved to Europe.

His comments, reported by the official IRNA news agency from a news conference he gave in the Saudia Arabian city of Mecca, follow his call in October for Israel to be "wiped off the map," which sparked widespread international condemnation.

"Some European countries insist on saying that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces and they insist on it to the extent that if anyone proves something contrary to that they condemn that person and throw them in jail," IRNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.

"Although we don't accept this claim, if we suppose it is true, our question for the Europeans is: is the killing of innocent Jewish people by Hitler the reason for their support to the occupiers of Jerusalem?"

"If the Europeans are honest they should give some of their provinces in Europe -- like in Germany, Austria or other countries -- to the Zionists and the Zionists can establish their state in Europe. You offer part of Europe and we will support it," he added.

Close allies when Iran was ruled by the U.S.-backed Shah, Iran and Israel have become implacable foes since Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution.

Israel accuses Iran of giving arms and funding to militant Palestinian groups such as Islamic Jihad and of building nuclear weapons. Iran denies the charges.

Tehran calls Israel a "terrorist state" and has developed missiles which can reach the Jewish state. It says it would use them if Israel tried to bomb its nuclear facilities.

Earlier in his remarks, the Iranian president, a former Revolutionary Guardsman who won a surprise election victory in June, said:

"The question is where do those who rule in Palestine as occupiers come from? Where were they born? Where did their fathers live? They have no roots in Palestine but they have taken the fate of Palestine in their hands.

"Isn't the right to national self-determination one of the principles of the United Nations charter? Why do they deprive Palestinians of this right?"

I dunno. Why does every raghead in the Middle East including yourself deny this right to their own people? Why is it that the only Arabs who can vote are in "occupied" Iraq and "occupied" Palestine? Why did you kill the Prime Minister of Lebanon?

I guess we all have questions.

Where did their father's fathers live...and their fathers? Go back far enough and you find we are all thieves living on land forcibly taken from others. Apparantly, this bozo doesn't know how Cyrus and other tribal leaders originally obtainted the land for the Persians.

"Isn't the right to national self-determination one of the principles of the United Nations charter? Why do they deprive Palestinians of this right?"

So he supports the creation of an independent Kurdish state...and one for Egypts Copts? The man is a fool, as was Woodrow Wilson. Too bad TR isn't alive.

Interesting article about the history of Persian Jews

Seems like Jews have a more historic claim to Persia/Iran than Muslims.

Can't these people read the Bible, or do the mullahs forbid it and behead them if they try? Jerusulem is mentioned as Israel's home HOW many times? And how often is Jerusulem mentioned in the Koran? Once, to my recollection, in Mohammed's alleged dream. I don't think Mohammed even ever WENT to Jerusulem.

Likewise, I don't think "Palestine" even existed until the British Mandate and I believe most "Palestinians" are Jordanian Arabs.

Judaism is the recorded history of a people since the beginning of time and the recounting of their faith in God. Christianity is the faith of the followers of a Jew who claimed to be the promised Messiah of the God of the Jews and is based on eye witness accounts of those present at the time. Both Jews and Christians are devoted (however they may fail) to the furtherance of goodness and love as commanded them of their God.

On the other hand, Islam is a religion based on imagined voices in the head of one deranged man who history reports to be a pirate, a terrorist, a rapist, a pedophile, and a murderer...and which said voices undertake to completely rewrite history in a way which makes this deranged man the beneficiary of all God's bounty. Unfortunate, time has not been kind of islam and it appears that the fruit of islam is cruelty and oppression and abject poverty of body and spirit. The passage of time has provided adequate proof that islam is counterfeit (as suspected).

On the other hand, time has been kind to Judeo/Christian civilization (despite the attempts of evil men). Keeping that in mind, it seems rather obvious why the islamics would want to get rid of the Jews and Christians.

They have no roots in Palestine but they have taken the fate of Palestine in their hands.

Islamic revisionist history. The following bible quotation is God instructing Joshua as he led the Israelites into what is now called Palestine.

Joshua 1:3-4, "Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you as I said unto Moses. From the wilderness (desert) and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites (present day Iraq and Syria) and unto the great sea (Mediterranean) to the going down of the sun shall be your borders."

The descendents of Abraham included the Arabs and several ancient tribes which have been absorbed into other middle eastern tribes and nations over time. But in Genesis 21:12 God told Abraham, "In Isaac shall they seed (posterity) be called". Isaac bore 2 sons, Jacob and Esau, but Esau sold his inheritance to Jacob, thus eliminating his progeny from the inheritance promised to Isaac's heirs. The ancient Israelites never occupied the greater part of the land they were promised. After Joshua and his generation passed the Israelites became demoralized by constant warfare with the Philistines who were invading the region and did not subdue the tribes located on their inheritance any further than roughly the area now held by Israel, Jordan, and parts of Lebanon and Syria.

The Arabs are the result of intermarriage between descendents of Abraham's illegitimate son Ishmael and Esau's descendents. None of those non-Israeli descendents of Abraham are included in God's irrevocable land grant to the descendents of Jacob.

All that to say this. Israel holds the only legitimate title to all the land now held by Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq. If God's promises are fulfilled, and they will be, Israel will eventually possess as well as own all of the land it was given over 3000 years ago. The Islamic hordes outnumber the Israelis by approximately 160-1. But the legitimate descendents of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob have God on their side, and God + 1 = a majority.

Iran is not connected to Palestine in any genetic way. Iranians are NOT Arabs; they are of Persian descent. The only thing connecting them is Islam, but many of the Palestinians are CHRISTIANS, not Muslims, so there's not even a full connection there.

Iran just can't stand the fact that Israel even exists. Even it it WERE moved somewhere in Europe, Iran still would be angry.

It seems as if American policy toward Iran a few years ago was to sit back and wait for the expected internal revolution which would topple the Islamofascist regime.

Now with this new maniac as the Iranian president, and Iran approaching a nuclear weapons capability and abetting Islamic terrorists around the world, perhaps it is time for the U. S. to become more proactive.

Why do the Jewish people not have a right to self-determination in the Land Of Israel? I don't see a Palestinian deed recorded in the Torah. I do see God making an eternal covenant with Abraham to give it as an eternal possession to his descendants. The Iranian President can look up the relevant sources. As for his comments about the Holocaust, its not because Six Million Jews were murdered in Europe that a Jewish State arose. It would happened in any case because it was God's Will. But I don't expect an anti-Semite to acquaint himself with the truth. The people of Israel know very well the Iranian regime has sworn itself to destroy their country. That will never be allowed to happen.
