Najaf, Mosul and the Iraqi economy: These were the three pillars of President Bush's speech yesterday before the Council on Foreign Relations, and they are three of the best reasons why Howard Dean is utterly wrong to predict American defeat in Iraq. One wouldn't know it from the acrimonious debate in Washington, but the two former trouble spots are rapidly joining the 80 percent or so of Iraq that suffers little or no violence, while the Iraqi economy is looking better than it has in years.

It amazes me how the Dems always compare Iraq to Viet Nam. Let's not forget which Party got us into Nam, waged the war and which one got us out. If the Dems would have known how to wage a real WAR (not a police action) we could have ended Nam in a matter of months. Let's thank GOD that GW Bush is at the helm and not some Democratic, dope smokin, commie lovin, terrorist excusing, coward from the left. Bush is right, we either fight them there, or we will be fighting them here. As a Viet Nam era vet, I'm proud of our men and women who who serve, if the Dems can't support our troops they should at least keep their mouths shut.

Now that's some interesting facts. I missed that in the Sunday NY Slimes.

Mom,
Zac has had a good up bringing. Terrific set of charts. They really simplify the good stuff and make it so that even a liberal can understand and appreciate the facts. Ahh, scratch that.
Thank your son from a vet and father of a Navy guy. Merry Christmas.

Imagine having over 75% of any region in the United States thinking it was "best to register in vote" on any issue facing us today?
Americans are lazy and complacent compared to the New Iraq.
