Only now it's "Sex, Drugs and Geritol", "Don't Trust Anyone Under 60" and The Stones are "Geezer Rock".

Better make that no one under 70 or 75. The original hippies are over 60 now, some over 65. Also the drugs are now to make the sex possible. Geritol isn't up to it, they need Viagra, if that will even help after the ravages of the recreational drugs.

As you can see, those folks, and those younger versions, haven't changed much. They still live a mess wherever they go. Photo below is from the aftermath of the 1969 Woodstock affair.

Another thing that folks can do to support our troops, especially those folks in the central and north Texas areas is to go to www.klif.com for the "We Got Your Back" campaign. This is spearheaded by Daryl Ankarlo, who spoke at the second Crawford FReep. You have until 7 PM CST tonight to donate. They have an 800 number to call. (1-877-4DFWAID). They take most credit cards. The money goes to the families of deployed troops. You can donate new toys as well. The money will be used to buy toys for their kids, or to help with other expenses as required. Each case is handled individually by local volunteers, including Mrs. Ankarlo!

Should have added that Ankarlo's son, LCpl Ankarlo USMC, is a veteran of the Fallujah battle, as well as ops up along the Syrian border during the runup to the Iraqi election. He's in the US now, and has been trained as a sniper. So give some $$, and LCPl Ankarlo will "Get some" for you on his next deployment, assuming there are any left to get, and I suspect that unfortunately there will be. :)

While you're all out having a good time harassing Code Pink I want you to keep me in your prayers as I suffer through another company social event.

LOL! I went to one of those events last night. Bleck. After attending for an hour or so, I left and joined some friends at a restaurant. That was much better.

Santa Claus was there and made it clear that Pinkos are getting lumps of coal.

Many of the rest of us wore Santa hats. Someone wore raindeer antlers and had a blinking red nose.

FReepers had 22, but Pinkos got, at most, 20. Too cold to deploy the MOAB with a slight breeze, but we had plenty of signs and flags.

No FReepers lost any fingers or toes to frostbite and we had fun. Another successful FReep!

We shouted across the street at the Pinkos that Murphy was at her FL condo, laughing about them standing in the cold.
