Let me guess. These words were taken out of context.

In order for that to be the case, the democRATs would have to be speaking within some kind of context to start with. Maybe the RATs have point.

The looney left is always seething because the Surrendercrats won't tell the American people what they really believe. Then they get mad when we do it for them. Go figure.

The looney left is always seething because the Surrendercrats won't tell the American people what they really believe.

The Dems believe they should be elected. Everything else is just tactics to achieve that. If sacrificing virgins in a volcano would boost their polling by 1%, Hillary would be looking for a volcano and Bill would be looking for a virgin.

Fox mentioned this earlier and said they would be playing snippets......LOL........

I wish there would be a video of Congressman Johnson of Texas making his point about how it felt to be fighting in VN and hearing this kind of betrayal. Then when he was a POW the VN played it for the prisoners and he thought he would never ever get home again.

I don't usually give money to politicians - but I would be only too happy to donate money to buy air time and have this ad run on prime time TV every night for the next six months!

Please - RNC - buy some air time!!!!

Rule # 1 - Democrat words are always "taken out of context."

Rule # 2 - Conservative words are always in the context in which the media wants them.

Too damn cool. I've been waiting years for this.

It truly is about time the Pubbies countered the lying RATS and to use their own words is of course is even sweeter! Of course we will be blamed for taking it out of context - that is part of their playbook. This is not, and has never been, a level playing field.

I hear you on the fear that this will be preaching to the choir. However, think about the old saying: "twist a pig's ear and watch him squeal."

Although many Americans will not see the footage itself, they will see the hyperventilation of the liberals/Dems in reaction to it. This will not help the libs.

What I'm saying is that the actual commercial itself will be effective in the way it provokes the opposition---not the commercial itself.

And believe me, these pigs are going to squeal as a result of this ear-twist.

Good stuff.

Thank you, GOP! This is headed in the "right" direction. The video also implies that these liberal b@st@rds are covered with the white sheets, which can have multiple subliminal meanings.

Distribution note: In addition to educating the clueless TV audience, efforts should be made to pre-append this video to those little snippets of video stories that you can watch on local news and TV web sites. The ones where you can't skip the introductory "commercial", you know?

"Fox is about to show coverage 10:20 et"

Awesome. My point still stands---the beauty and effectiveness of this add will be in the reaction that it provokes (which, by the way, will include many quotes that will also be usable against them, I would wager).

"I've already heard there are quotes of Bush saying that the Iraq war is not winnable...."

If that's how they are going to defend their comments than it really illustrates the hole they are in----and it is even deeper than I thought. Are they seriously going to suggest that Bush has been anything but positive and steadfast? Are they going to stand by their comments using the 'evidence' that Bush has said the same thing? This is simply not feasible and if this is the road that they take......yikes.

They're in big trouble. Rocks, hard-places, etc.

Murtha is a (insert 40 words of praise for military service) and it would be too easy for rats to turn this around as an attack on his service.

Even though Kerry was in Vietnam but most people are not aware of that because he doesn't mention it too often.

Lame. Web. Video. It chops up Kerry's comments. Kerry's whole comment is more damning! Play the whole thing.

Too much production value....no audience. Only Freepers will watch this video, and anyone who doesn't already think Kerry is a traitor will be turned off by this as just edited propaganda for the GOP.

This video doesn't do much unless........IT'S ON TV!!!!

Com-on GOP, let's put out about 20 million in adds for a week, then watch the Dems squirm. Bush's numbers and all of the congressional Pubs numbers will climb dramatically. They would stop looking for ways to take red seats, they would be looking for ways to hold the blue ones.

As Rush always says--words mean things--and all the RNC did was use the Dims' own words against them. IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Can anyone post a link to the RNC--would love to see a FLOOD of donations come in to let the Pubs know that it is OK to fight back, as long as you keep things honest!

Yeah--especially when they have the GALL to quote what was actually said. I mean--they should have the decency to do what the Dems do which is misquote, and say Kerry called our troops terrorists and Dean said they are dying in vain.

That would be so much kinder and gentler.

Fox just showed it. CNN would refuse to show it no matter what.

This is a good beginning. If we give the RNC enough positive feedback, they may up the ante.

The Dems are going to react to this, and give it more publicity.

GOOD start.

It's about time that the Republicans started putting the boot in. Otherwise, why the heck did we knock the Democrats down?

Taking the higher road and ignoring an assailant will only get you beat up. Time to fight back.

And if the MSM won't sell the RNC ad time, that'll tell people something, too.
