It is the duty of every citizen to lie to pollsters. No poll is worth the effort put into it.

Ahhhh, this poll must explain why Wal-Mart is always so crowded.

I call it fighting back, defending themselves against an onslaught of negative propoganda.

I heard right from the beginning that this was a rigged poll by anti Wal Mart unionists. I was shocked when I heard it used on Fox News later that night as gospel. Then again it might've been Shemp Smith using it.

BULLZOGBY
This guy tried to sway the 2004 election on election day by biasing his figures to keep Republicans depressed and at home.
Throw the bum out.

This is not different than the multiple Handgun Control, Inc. polls that said the American people wanted to disarm themselves. Trouble was, when the people actually voted on the issue, the Second Amendment, freedom, and the right to self defense won overwhelmingly.

I think you have his motivation wrong. He tried to cover his ass when the exit polling seemed to show his pre-election polling was way off, and only ended up making himself look like an idiot in the process.

Election day his sample was weighted towards the democrats and the media kept publishing the latest poll figures on election day.
There are threads dedicated to election day (real time). Sean Hannity and others had to tell callers not to give up hope.
The media believed their own BS. When you cook the books, ALWAYS keep a legit copy so you know how much you were off/stole.
The first 10 minutes after the polls closed on the east coast, all of the networks had pundits saying that the economy sank Bush's chances for re-election. They quickly learned that it wasn't a blowout for Kerry and had to change their coverage.
I rolled videotape (on several networks, flipping the dial) until my recorder broke down.
