My Dad was a cop for several years. He said he hated domestic disturbances more than any other type of call. They're kind of like throwing a brick in a mud puddle. Everybody gets dirty. Prayers for them and their families.

The department has 15 officers. Fite and Breland were the only patrolmen on duty Sunday night, which is normal.

I hate them too, and that's what I get more of than any other type of call. Anything can happen; and a situation can go from bad to deadly in an instant.

Imagine answering such a call without backup!
