Rerun. Rerun. Repeating the tired theme, pushed hard by the lamestreamers that Bush is really dumb but ol Al Gore is smart. The anti-Bush, anti-American snobbed surrendercrats cannot even attempt to be creative. <<<

Shuuuuush!!!!..The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result!....Leave them be!!!...

I was watching some special on TV last week, I think on the History Channel, about the assassination of RFK, and there was Evan Thomas of Newsweek being interviewed about the death of his old boss. I never knew he worked for Kennedy, but now I know where his left-wing bias comes from.

I just read somewhere that one of the reasons for the PATHOLOGICAL BUSH HATRED, is that his enemies know he really doesn't care what they think and that just makes them all the more crazy.

The most isolated president in history was Bill Clinton.

1. Hillary had him so cooped up the WH that he had to resort to a fling with a intern/slut,

2. He had no real power because the House and Sentate weren't under his control,

3. He had to order $100M+ cruise missile attacks on tents in Afganistan and aspirin factories in Africa to divert attention from his philanderings in the WH,

4. He couldn't even deal with Warlords in Somalia and caused deaths of our soldiers by not permitting heavy armor to be used there,

and so on. GW Isolated? I think not; this is just another liberal wet dream meant to instill uneasiness in the Republican ranks and get us off-message.

Dems are actually losing and they can't understand it.....

Petty little twits in the media think they themselves are relevant in some way.

They're (MSM) just trying to prove they're not living in a "bubble".

"An unnamed official for the Hillary camp state that she thinks Cindy Sheehan is cute and wants to have a drink with her."
Hey! If they can make up lies by stating references that no one could possibly verify, than I can to!

Is Newsweak still in business? If so why?

Like People magazine, they have just enough cash flow to continue to operate on the sale of ads for viagra and movies.

I'm sure this Newsweek cover was not designed to counteract the recent upswing in Bush's popular support. (sarcasm off)

I quit subscribing to Newsweek after their cover story of Newt Gingrich calling him THE LOSER.

I heard one of the talking heads on cable news say that Bush had to be shown a dvd of New Orleans because he didn't know what was going on there.

"The most isolated president in history was Bill Clinton."

That's a persuasive list you compiled....may I borrow it to use for listing Clinton as 3rd or 4th?

1) Wilson
The most damning fact is that he had a near fatal stroke which was kept completely hidden from the people and press. His wife and cabinet ran the government for a long period of time.

2) John Kennedy
Now we know he was so desparate to hide his addison's disease that he relied on illegal drug injections just to function. Now we know that his big diversion was committing adultry in the White House with numerous women, including a top mobster's girlfriend. His brother in the position of US Attorney General was the only person he trusted.....and talk about pre-screened crowds, he would come to a city and the civil servants were given the day off to be the crowd with supportive signs.

3) FDR
I waver on him but the evidence we know now demands he be on the list. Remember, Eleanor was known as his eyes & ears, travelling around the country and the world.....now we know that they barely tolerated each other's company....his presidency was smoke and mirrors until WWII started and he was forced to the front.

You wrote, "Clinton is my vote for worst President ever."

Clinton reminds me of a Democrat version of Warren Harding--corrupt, superficial, and inept, sure, but capable of the occasional decision: good examples of seat-warming Presidents. For all that, I think Carter, Buchanan, and Fillmore still hold a dead-heat tie for worst President. The competition's fierce at the bottom.

Some may wish to claim more credit for our victory.

The enemy actually gets the credit. With the daily mounting of preposterous stories, each more idiotic than the other, it had to happen.

At some point it became impractical to respond to the body of growing dreck. It was unneccesary to dignify their craziness with the courtesy of a reply.

I can see your point for the three you list. However, those three suffered from some debilitating medical condition. I submit that, discounting such, Bill Clinton is first among the isolated.....unless you count letchery and drug use as debilitating medical conditions.....

Yes, it's lonely at the top.

Lincoln, Churchill, Reagan, Truman--they all knew the price of principle and leadership-- It's often isolation. It's often scorn--as they all well knew.

You are right....the medical conditions & the cover-ups were major factors in my choices. We agree that GWB is far down any "isolated" presidential list. Here are some definitions of isolated:
remote
cut-off
inaccessable
lonely
secluded
unreachable
unapproachable

I need to think about this some more....Clinton may indeed be number one because he admits he betrayed and lied to everyone, his wife & family, his cabinet, even the FOBs.....that earns him first place in the lonely definition for sure.

Worst President of all time: Billary Clinton Worst EX-President of all time: Jimmah Cahtah

Not even close. LBJ takes that (dis)honor.
