Governator would NOT be back.

If he was as smart as his buddy, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, he would not try to run again and leave with dignity.

Right now I bet Tookie would out-poll him.

Either way, this would be his final mistake (letting Tookie pass).

He is good man and he did really well as Governor and delayed complete break-down in CA.

"The Body,s" down-fall was 5 Tele-vision apperances a day. Governator is going down because as soon as he stepped in the office, he started dreaming of Presidency.

Can you believe it, that he and his supporters actually ran advertisements to build support for constitutional ammendment so someone not born an American can become President.

And the fact that he picked a fight with Teacher's Union, also resulted in multi-million dollar campaign against him, that totally Newtered him (like in Newt Gingrich).

Oh well.

""Im betting Arnie lets Tookie get the needle."

This may be so but, according to Boortz, the feds may step in to save Tookie."

The fact that threats of racial mob violence and riots are even getting mentioned as being factored into this decision should be setting off alarm bells. When rule of law is replaced by mob rule, we are going to be in for a very rough ride.

Tookie?

We will see. The "fear" of riots affecting justice is mob rule. We are already there, IMO. I will be surprized if Tookie dies. Pleased, but surprized.

Look, I don't think many people realize what may be happening.

Stanley Williams is affiliated with very organized, very violent criminal gangs. You can bet the Governor of California has received some credible physical threats.

These are the same gangs that have no problem intimidating witness, or just killing witnesses. This has been done many times.

These organized murderous gangs would have no problem targeting the governor.

That being said, I would hope any threats directed at the Governor would not be a factor in his decision.

Technically, it's 12:01 tomorrow morning....;-)

Not being nit-picky, but there's already been enough imprecise fact-slinging associated with this case (i.e., "no black jurors, etc.)

Granting Dookie clemency would be political suicide for Schwarzenegger. He needs to decide whether appeasing his buds in the movie world is worth ending his political career. He could not get elected crossing guard if he stays this execution.

Nevertheless, being that unique type of coward known as a "social liberal," he will commute the sentence.
