Fox is saying the Govinator will be speaking shortly, so I figured it was time to start a live thread for posterity.

He's going to get clemency. There's no way he's going to get on television with this kind of news if it's going to make his supporters unhappy... Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm guessing he would have made the decision, informed the warden, and released a simple statement to the press if the execution is going to go through...

1. It should be hard for our government to put a man to death.

2. It should be a sad day that we had to put a man to death, not a time to celebrate.

"Injection indeed....too easy?"

It is too easy, but it's just too expensive to keep this clown alive. They should have put him down years ago.

I'm betting he goes for clemency.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does. He's the governor of California after all and I don't think clemency costs him too much politically. If he was the governor of Texas this would be a slam dunk.

I can't believe Arnold would do that politically - even Bill Clinton fried that mentally retarded person before running for POTUS.

Why does he even need to make an "announcement" ? There should just be a press release, and not give this issue any more attention...
