Rick Santorum, comeback kid?
Who was polled for this survey? All Maine residents?
Snowe is number one......we're doomed.....
Since they couldn't figure out that Bush beat Gore and Kerry based on exit polls, I don't know what credence we'd give to these worthless polls.
If Frist is still contemplating running for POTUS, he might want to reconsider...huh?
I STILL want to know who was surveyed...
I don't f***ing understand how Obama is so high. He hasn't done sh*t!!!!
Sorry for swearing, but I can't stand this man. One of the MANY reasons I want to leave Illinois, cuz he ain't going no where. He's so popular he will end up beig another Kennedy, Lord help the People's Republic of Illinois!!!
A very cursory glance makes it look to me that the RINOs and Dems have good solid approval numbers (better than 60 percent). That seems to confirm something I've long suspected: People in Dem and Rhino states aren't paying attention to what's going on. They give high approval numbers because they don't care.
You're right, this strains the bounds of believability. Every top senator is a RINO or hard core leftist.......
Click on the senator's name for a description of the poll and demographics.
...or they have been brainwashed by the incessant spew constantly fed them by our insidious leftist media.
It's a phony poll by liberal TV stations. I try not to watch those stations...so they didn't get my opinion of how senators in my area are doing, which is lousy!
What is going on with Conrad Burns?
Top 4 are R's in a Blue State or D's in a Red State.
Oh hell. A second cursory look tells me that nearly every R senator is a RINO.
And Durbin's little sidekick Obama at 69%? Hard to believe.
Isn't he caught up in the whole Abramof fiasco in some way?
Oh...thanks..will do.
Yep .. If Bob Casey, Jr. ever comes out of hiding and debates Rick
Casey is putz and nothing like his father
600 adults age 18+ in each of the 50 states were interviewed by SurveyUSA 12/9/05 to 12/11/05. You must credit SurveyUSA and the media sponsor if you broadcast, print, or cite these results in whole or part. Click on each state to open a link which contains the margin of sampling error for each state, a complete statement of methodology, fully crosstabbed data and trendlines.
You've got to be kidding.
I don't believe this figures for a minute.
Makes sense to me. Conservatives hate the senate. Unless you live in Tom Coburn's state you're probably not real satisfied with your senator. So you give lousy ratings, even if you will vote for them again. Add to that the likelihood that the polls were tainted by leftist media and it all equals up.
Lautenberg is dead last. Lautenberg was the last-minute replacement for Toricelli, who the NJ Supremos let be substituted after the deadline in 2002. What a joke.
The only person who could have possibly lost to Lautenberg was Doug Forrester. But he's going to keep buying 'Pubbie primaries in NJ until his money runs out. And he has a lot of money...
Perhaps a petition of recall will eliminate Little Dick.
ARRRRRRRGGGHHHHHH
Yeah, What she said....
My senators are tough-as-nails conservative and they will be re-elected, as they have been in the past. They are very popular. IRC, one of them garnered almost 70% of the vote in their last election.
BTW, you think Lautenberg will lose in liberal NJ just because he's the least popular in a flawed poll.
Because people thought they were voting for this guy...
Exactly. Not a single county in Oklahoma was won by the democrats in the last presidential election, yet Coburn is at 51%.......hmmmmmmmmm
I find the results of this poll in Wiscosnin to be highly suspect.
i'd vote for Brack any day...
Glad to see my loonbat senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein on the low end of the scale.
Neither do I
Nobody asked me. I approve of hanging the lot of them. Traitors and thieves all of them.
The last poll I saw on Santorum (not Rasmussen they talked about the other day, Quinnipiac?) he was polling something like 20 pts behind Casey, but when asked if they thought he had done a good job, something like 67% answered yes! The problem with the conservative Democrats who have voted twice for Santorum is they "love" Casey and these are people from his area of the state.
This chart, if accurate, is a perfect reflection as to why Senators are almost always re-elected.
Norm and him were tied earlier in the year...I think the reason is the Dems made him DISSAPEAR because all he was to them was a vote to cancel Norm...runaway Mark doesn't even show up on the LOCAL news!
"What is going on with Conrad Burns?"
Part of what drives these numbers is memory. The highly contested DeMint election is in more people's minds than Grahams short walk years before it.
Yeah... all Maine residents who work for the state of Maine, maybe.
I'm stuck with Durbin too. Unfortunately, as a resident of Cook County, I see no way he'll get voted out in IL. My district booted Crane for a turncoat in 2004. Got any reasons to give me hope?
I guarantee it was not national republans. Snowe and Collins are universally loathed by republican activists outside of maine and not too beloved by the non country club set here in Maine either.
I have NO idea why those two would have the top ratings...jeez louise, the only reason I know who they are is because I am a Senate watcher..
They both look, dress, act like spinsters that just came from a church picnic.
What can you say when 210,000 Boxer voters supported Bush over Kerry?
| Candidate | Party | Votes | Percent |
| John F. Kerry | Democratic | 6,737,355 | 54.4 |
| George W. Bush | Republican | 5,501,496 | 44.4 |
| Barbara Boxer | Democratic | 6,947,021 | 57.8 |
| Bill Jones | Republican | 4,548,931 | 37.8 |
Feinstein will be reelected by aclamation.
