Don't arrest him...find him a job as part of his sentence. Apparently the kid has skill.
Yeah, no judge is gonna put this kid away. I wouldn't go rewarding him, though. I'd just make sure that he understood that what he did was wrong (questionable; he's only 10), give him a slap on the wrist, and send him on his way.
shoot him in the head.
Future politician, perhaps?
I'm sorry, how much skill has not been shown, but his willingness to get something for nothing has. I would insist on repaying in labor every one who was defrauded by this "money". If the kid did indeed demonstrate superior work with computer and scanner (perhaps) maybe there is a career out there, but only for those with integrity. enough said.
He's a thief.
Cut both his hands off as a warning to his other smartass little thieving friends.
I was thinking the same thing. If that kid could put those skills towards something positive and honest, he could really amount to something besides a future stay in prison.
He made an "A" on that economics project!
What skill? He scanned an image of a $20 bill into a graphic editor on a computer. He printed it out on card stock and wrinkled it a bit. If that's skill, then I'm the King of Jamaica.
Its a wonder my kid is not in prison. Ever Monday he pays for lunch with a twenty, I give him a twenty on Monday morning for lunch and spending money for the week. He is also 10 years old, I wonder why they don't think he is using fake money?
