Sean Penn, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx and Danny Glover are among the thousands of mourners expected to turn out for the funeral of executed former gang leader Stanley 'Tookie' Williams early next week.

Wonder what color ribbon these idiots will designate to start wearing in Tookie's honor?I doubt it would be realistic enough to look like it had been hit by a shotgun blast at close range.

They know damn well Tookie's from South Central, why are they sprinkling his ahes in South Africa? I've never heard anything sillier. That plane ticket over could feed a few families for a few months. But don't get it twisted, Tookiess family has plenty of money because he was still running things from his cell. Thats whay he refused to renounce the crips.

I read some place that they were expecting 16,000 people. I guess they plan on renting the Forum or Staples arena. I believe the Forum is owned by a church group. Maybe they will sell peanuts and crackerjacks. I cannot believe anybody would rent a facility to this group. I would want a lot of insurance.

Will these guys go to the funeral of John B. Nixon, Sr.? The man executed 2 days after Tookie? A fair number of rank-and-file anti-death penalty liberals are calling the celebrity cult around Tookie and Mumia into account - they say venerating unrepentent, cold-blooded killers harms the anti-death-penalty cause.
But, hey, celebs need their face time.
