Imagine what this would be like if the MSM weren't in the leftist's pocket. This would be on every nightly news program, and front page bold headlines tomorrow. 85% of America would feel great about itself, and properly thank the folks in uniform and our leaders for helping to make this happen.
Imagine it in a 1945 timeframe... congress standing, applauding the President for the outcome. Sort of a V-I Day. Jeez, what we could be as a nation, if only we didn't have the left, or if only they could be made to see.
The rest of the axis would tremble uncontrollably, ultimately saving many of our own lives (and probably many of theirs). Damn the left for not uniting with us in all this.

Good news. Too bad that liberals and the msm today do not understand that freedom has a cost.

You got that right brother. And I bet a number of us are just as thrilled by this Iraqi election for what it is .....the gift of freedom, as the somewhat relief in seeing it come to past due to the often difficult and heart wrenching sacrifices of our military that made it it a reality. I stand at attention and salute each of our military folk and those in the coalition that have made this day come to past.

Indeed. Imagine the impact on the Iranians and their drive for nukes, if they saw us completely united on this and ready as ever to do it again if they gave us cause to do so. They'd roll over in a heartbeat.

Very moving story. I too am very happy for the Iraqi people. I am proud of our courageous President and I am proud of my fellow American soldiers.
May this day be earmarked and remembered forevermore as the time the media, liberals, and Democrats everywhere desperately sought to cut and run! As it was so eloquently said:
"With the exception of a child, freedom is the greatest gift one human being can give another"
Let us thank God for His blessing.

Thank you, Casey Sheehan, and all the American and Coalition troops who helped this day happen. A pox on all the defeatists and de facto terror supporters.
