Thurgood Marshall would not attend the SCOTUS Christmas Parties. I wonder is Breyer and Ginsburg will attend the party?

As he apparently did every year, Marshall sent a note to Rehnquist declining the invitation: "As usual, I will not participate. I still prefer to keep church and state apart."

Good grief!

What a prig. Did Marshall even go to church, I wonder...
