I'm too lazy to type up a table for the democrats but here's their basic results

1. Hillary
2. Mark Warner
3. John Edwards
4. Evan Bayh
5. Tom Vilsack
6. The dumbest man in the senate
7. Bill Richardson
8. John Kerry
9. Al Gore
10. Wesley Clark

Some points to make, Mccain and Allen retain their first and second place position, but since april 30th they have solidified their positions and are far ahead of their nearest competition(both have double of what romney and rudy have). Frist has crashed and burned, he was right on mccain and allen's tail before but now.. well.. Rudy has stayed at about the same place. it should be noted that almost all of the people who voted for rudy as first place, voted for mccain for second place.

You've already two of my other suggestions listed, no fair.

The comments made by alot of the mccain people in this poll are that, if bush looks like hes crashing in burning in 2008 he's the only republican who can stop hillary. It's funny b/c one of the mccain people accuse rudy of being unelectable.

Nice to see the pence fanatics coming back in to try and steal allen's thunder. Stellar dendrite that article is a hit piece written by a hack at human events. LOok at the context of the article and read my posts #41 and #42. Allen is not squishy on immigration and hes not sitting on the fence, that hack writer put those titles to mislead people into thinking he's something hes not. Read the actual interview and no where does he sit on the fence or appear squishy.

He asked her to meet with her before the whole drama ensued, he said that it woudlnt be wise to meet with her after the whole crawford protest hoopla started.

I dont see anything wrong meeting with sheehan the first time, she did loose her son, but to meet with her after all her barking moonbat ravings would be wrong and he did state, if you look at his whole statement.. not the excerpts some freepers post he said he woudlnt have met her after the barking moonbat phase she entered.

Sorry to dissapoint you zarf, but your guy rudy is going to get laughed out of the primaries for his social liberalism and his XXX personal life. You've consistently bashed allen as a compromising appeaser when all you ever cite is the sheehan thing.

All you rudy fanatics can ever say is name one democrat who can beat rudy, everyone else sucks, they aren't as hardcore as rudy. Sorry, but the GOP base will not nominate a socially liberal adulterer. Bash allen all you want for his mistakes perceived or real, but doesn't make up for your guys deficiencies. 9/10/01 rudy was a joke and his career was over, come republcian primary time everyone will remember and all of his shennanigans and the voters will be reminded of this.

I'd take mccain over rudy, mccain may suck on a few things but hes more conservative than rudy is and nobody will dispute that. Huckabee is a joke, the guy rasied taxes talks about our christian duty to let illegals in... gives speeches to la raza. The guy had potential but he squandered it, last i checked cato gave the guy a D for a rating b/c of raising taxes and growth of government in arkansas.

Me too. I would never, ever vote for Hillary, but for the first time ever, I would leave the presidential slot blank. She may win with 40% of the vote.

McLame is a complete slime, who has disgraced the uniform he once wore. I used to be ashamed that I was 4-F in Vietnam, but if that's all wearing a uniform did for McLame, then I have nothing to be ashamed of.

He asked him to meet with her the SECOND time.

Actually, you're the one who has it wrong.

He made his comments while doing his August around the state listening tour. At that time, I don't believe he knew that the President had already met with her. He said he would have met with her and that he wished the President would meet with her. That's true.

And he said that, for one reason, because he loves the open debate. He's one of the smartest people I've ever met and he relishes the discussion of all views, and then he'll tell you his view.

After Sheehan set up camp in Crawford and started making such a fool of herself, Allen revised those comments and basically said it would be pointless to meet with her.

I'd take Rudy over McCain in a New York minute. McCain is certifiably insane. Look at what he has done on CFR and now on this stupid, over the top terrorist aid package.

The man has long had a death wish and he's determined to take us all with him. Besides, he's way to cozy with Soros.

Nine RESPONSIBLE Senators voted in "favor of torture" as you define it. The reason the President won't VETO the damn bill is that Mccain attached it to a defense bill which funds our troops and 90 Senators is enough to override a VETO, ninety Senators voted for the amendment. If enough Republicans had shot it down the President would have had leverage against McCain.

Quite an argument you are making. because Allen doesn't want to have to defend not giving terrorists rights he should be President to lead the WOT against the terrorists? Pfft. The guy lacks a spine and floats with the finger in the air. Far as I'm concerned no Senator is qualified to be President. Unfortunately, we've got a damn weak field all across the board in '08.

Neither Giuliani or McCain has a hope for the Republican nomination. All this speculation is nothing more than liberals trying to put themselves in the driver's seat for the Republican primary.

Allen has a chance, but when it gets down to where rubber hits the road, everybody misses one thing - - Jeb Bush - - it is his for the taking if he wants it AND he will wipe the floor with anyone in the general election including another Clinton...

Bush v. Clinton: “We're not about to make that same mistake.”
