Now revelations of secret, although carefully selective, interceptions of suspicious emails and phone calls between persons in the US and terror-connected individuals overseas...

Why was it necessary to do this spying without a warrant? Who determines that necessity? Who, ultimately, takes responsibility should that power be abused?

And a question for FReepers: Would you feel the same way if it was President Clinton?

I support the WoT wholeheartedly, but I also don't lightly give up my Constitutional rights.
