“Chris Matthews Show” Gets America’s Priorities Right This Morning -- (SHOCKING!!!)

Unlike the other major broadcast network Sunday talk shows (as reported by NewsBusters), NBC’s “The Chris Matthews Show” led with Thursday’s historic elections in Iraq, while mentioning the surveillance scandal raised in a New York Times article Friday as almost an afterthought. Then, after the break, Matthews began on another topic that is likely much more of a concern to Americans than the legality of wiretaps on terrorists, illegal immigration.

After introducing his guests – Joe Klein of TIME, Andrea Mitchell of NBC News, David Brooks of The New York Times, and syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker – Matthews went right into Thursday’s Iraqi elections. With the notable exception of Klein, the panel seemed in agreement that this was an historic event on Thursday, and that democracy in Iraq now seems possible...

And this is what makes the Democrats and their media lapdogs so incredibly dangerous. They are not only encouraging and enabling our Jihadist foes...they are doing the same for all those who want to harm us. They are so shortsighted that they can't see that their own vitriol is not only creating a hatred among the Left and the Islamic world towards America...but also from our historic enemies, who will use this same rhetoric to excuse and justify their own distrust and hatred for us.

This continued propagation of a divided house is only going to further embolden our other enemies to take risks they might not otherwise take...the Tiny Tyrant in Venezuela comes to mind. It's so hypocritical to listen to the Democrat's so-called concern for America's image, when they are directly responsible for perpetuating this negative image. The mediacrats are playing an extremely dangerous game with our lives as they inspire old enemies and create new ones.

I heard Matthews say on Friday, that if Iraq does succeed in the formation of a democratic government then Bush deserves to be put on Mt.Rushmore. I then sh*t my pants and looked outside to see if Superman was circling the earth to make time turn back.
