I can't deny that racism doesn't still exist because it does. I just doubt that Ms Bilge has to sit in the back of the bus, that she has to go to a separate restroom, that she is denied the right to vote, etc...

As long as humans are human all sorts of isms will exist. In the US motivated people don't sit around and worry about it. They make something of themselves. And if they are kind as well they try to help others pull themselves up as well.

Yes, Mexico is very color-coded, light (being considered better) to dark. I bet this is common worldwide. I know it is in the black community.

i agree. elvis was no racist. racist people dont want to be around black people at all let alone work with them. mary blige is the racist. elvis worked with the imperials, the stamps, jd sumner, jake hess etc. so if elvis was racist these good christian gospel singers were also racist. im white and im sick of it. all whites are racists, according to blacks. blacks need to take the chips off there shoulders and quit being such racist. go buy the dvd called “the gospel music of elvis” the imperials talk of how elvis was NOT a rascist and his good works and how he helped so many in need. blacks need to watch it before they run their mouths.
