I just heard this on my local station in Tahlequah Oklahoma that memebers of Harley Owners Group's accross the country are going to our nations hero's funerals to block anti-war maggots from harrassing the greiving families.
God Bless them and our troops in harms way.
Which means it probley is here somewhere...lol
Again, God bless our troops and don't let the "Socialist's in this country" lead this country to defeat again!
Wow, can this be true? can we have some pics please?
Can we also recruit NASCAR fans to these noble causes then?...One can hope I guess...
Mods, we may want to keep this posted on the sidebar so people can use it as a reference tool, as I am sure we will get contact information placed in this thread.
Amen and God bless them for this! Also, God bless all our troops this Christmas and every single day of 2006 and beyond!
NASCAR fans would go right for kicking their sorry asses back to where they came from. LOL!
I also would hope this is factual. Americans do care.
It was on my local news show, so sorry I have no pictures.
But they did say that there are 2,500, and growing, of them at this point across the nationn ready to go to funerals of our nations fallen heros to shield the families from anti-war socialist scum.
Some of the guys in the pictures looked fairly large, as in don't mess with me large!
Any contact information that anyone has would be welcome to the thread.
I've been looking for the perfect excuse to buy a bike.
Mrs. Ramcat just might go for this one.
It is factual and I have posted hundreds of posts here and only a couple of ever been deleted, so I trust the mods to do the right thing.
Thank you, Harley bikers. This is wonderful for the families.
Can this day get any better? W slaps down reporters and RATS, Arnie says the ring is in the mail, Joshua gets appreciation cards, and now this.
Where in Ok. is this? And what's the news source?
At 5'0" and 95 lbs. I'm not very big but I might be good filler material.
A special blessing to those who will protect them from these vicious anti war anti American haters!
Ping
;)
HOG groups are generally made up of a large # of vets, so I am not surprised. My father-in-law who is now passed on was a vietnam vet and a member of HOG. They were always driving off to one thing or another to do some good. I could definately see the men and women that were in his group do this.
I will go back to the nes station and see if they play the segment again, they usually do and see if they list any contact information for the group.
My guess is you can call any local Harley store and ask for the number of the head of the local Harley Owners Group and he can put someting together from his members.
Hey tonk, wake up your ping lists!
Sally, I am in Tahlequah, but the nes channel is in Tulsa, so I am guessing there is a chapter there.
Also, I knew a woman that had a full dressed hog and she weighed in at about 98 pounds. Go for it.
YES!! We have been trying to send emails to American Legion Riders in the areas where soldier funerals are being held if we here that Phelps and his band of ^$$wipes will be showing up!!
Thank God for bikers!
Good work Harley owners!!
Excellent!
Interesting, but let's wait for the MSM to cover it.

That's some strong support. Hope it's true.
And if anyone wants to know more about John F'ing Kerry, go to my about me page and read some of my research I posted here from the FBI files of the VVAW.
I love it; a nice big tank of leather-chapped whupass!
Tell me there will be cameras handy...
I suspect you may be the Chief of PPP. At least stop whining, it is not very lady like.

This was sent to me for posting by 'daffyduct'.
YEAH BABY!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!
These guys go and get between the family members and the traitors and when the traitors raise their voices, the bikers rev their engines!! Freedom of noise, baby!! It's rather loud I'd imagine, and it's a shame they are needed, but I'm sure the family prefers the sound of a Harley to the cries of the morons!! I know I would.
Huh??
ROFL!!! To him, that would be the ultimate insult. It sucks that the way this guy supports himself is that he waits for someone to give him what he deserves so he can sue. The funny thing is, he says that our soldiers dying is God's retribution for us allowing homosexuality. But he just didn't seem to see God's justice when his church was firebombed. I'm thinking God was telling him to STFU and he didn't get the message!
...says the whiner who sobbed its way to this gem...
Not to worry, the Posting Police will bring wrath down around your shoulders if they find anything remotely the same as your post.
Boo frickin' hoo.
Hey thanks, I knew freepers wouldn't fail in finding links for us.
It is KOTV in Tulsa, channel 6 (six).
Stop advertising and people will not assume limited vocabulary.
From their website:
Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement
The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for Americas freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We dont care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether youre a "hawk" or a "dove". It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where youre from or what your income is. You dont even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Protect the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
I love it.

Just joined. Marty ~ you might wanna check this out and see if it's worth of a ping!!
Good grief -- do you mind??
Admin mods, you may want to edit the title as this is a NATIONAL group and an national effort.
And it would be a good idea to include it on the sidebar so Freepers can find it in the future.
Mind what?? I was addressing the concerns of the original poster. It seems he had some doubt. You and others are detracting from the content of his post. Shameful.
You win the idiot of the day award. I think if you'll compare my number of on topic posts to yours you'll see that you're losing.
I just joined the Patriot Guard Riders. Ms.B -- they need a state captain for Maine -- think Mr.B or you would be interested?? It's definitely a worthwhile cause!!
thank you.
You just don't know how it feels until it hits your home town...make that home village of 200-250 primarily retired farm folks, MANY of whom are vets (& hunters).
I really didn't know what to expect & couldn't attend the funeral. Typical of the area, the school dist includes outlying farm families so the school population is higher than "town" people.
200 of the good guys on bikes came to the funeral (KS) to stand between the family, friends & classmates & Phelps.
If you want me to get a contact # for the guys in KS who rode in I can try when I head home in a couple of days.
You and others do have one small attribute to your credit, namely, your postings have kept a worthwhile post alive so I am sure the original poster is appreciative.
