Good evening first of all! Early Dose. The president looks he's proud of Condi, and visa verse
Daughter's surgery went really well, and she now has no foreign objects holding her arm together.......thank You, Lord! Thanks all, for your prayers!
Well...........I'm off. Family stuff! Thanks again, GEM!
It is sad that VP Cheney had to cut his trip short because of a tie breaker vote!
Good news...Prayers answered!
So glad to hear of the successful surgery and your daughter's now-pinless arm. Thanks for the update, ohio.
There are some days that I really wonder about our Senate. I just read that Sen. Joe (King Snarky) Biden is holding up a bill in the Senate that passed 426 to ZIP in the House, to stop human trafficking, so that he can try to get pro-abortion wording into it, to wit:
Prayer & Action Alert: Bill to Stop Human Trafficking Being Blocked in U.S. Senate
Gary Schneeberger / Aimee Herd reporting (Dec 20, 2005)
http://www.family.org/cforum/
The Trafficking Victims' Protection Reauthorization Act would go a long way in protecting women and children from trafficking as well as helping victims of this crime in their recovery.
The legislation passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a margin of 426-0; however it is currently being held up in the Senate by Sen. Joe Biden who wishes to add pro-abortion language to the bill.
... The article states that human trafficking is now the second-largest and second-fastest-growing criminal enterprise in the world. Every year, 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders and held against their will. A large percentage of that number is children.
Citizen Link is urging concerned U.S. citizens to call Sen. Biden's office asking him politely to please stop blocking the vote on the Trafficking Victims' Protection Reauthorization Act. The Senator's number on Capitol Hill is: 202-224-5042. We can also be praying for the passage of this legislation protecting precious lives from the horror of trafficking.
Thanks for the dose, tonight.

Congratulations! Merry Christmas!
Hello and good evening!
Great bunch of pictures, Gretchen! Thanks for your hard work.
Love all the ones of the VP and Lynne interacting with the people they visited on their trip. It makes me as nervous for them to be out of country as it does the President! But they do so much good wherever they go!
So do I Gretchen! I called my senator's office today. I explained that I had searched the internet looking for a statement from him in support of President Bush and the NSA nonsense. She stammered around and explained it is still so new.
I informed her that I support MY President 150%, the WOT and the current front in Iraq, and yes I know the difference, 150% and I support the troops 200%. I told her that until my senator begins supporting MY President he has no support from me.
She sounded like she was almost in tears as she thanked me profusely for calling with my opinion. I thought she was joking. She informed me that out of 400 calls prox this week, I was the first to voice support of the President!!!
We need to start writing and calling our congress members. This is not the first time I've heard this kind of talk. They never ask where I'm calling from so I wonder where all these calls are coming from??
What a cool thing to do for your mom!!
Thank you for the Dose, Gretchen.
Great photos of our VP, Gretchen! Snugs, does it look to you as if he's lost *a little* weight? I think so.
Just listened to Mark Levin who supports the Prez big time
with the Intel gathering and ripping the libs.
If you stream WABC now you will hear Laura Ingraham
who I heard at 6am and she supports the Prez big time
and went on a rant against the libs and ripped
Goober Graham a new one.
Hi, Kelly. Congrats on your great solo!
Unfortunately, I think liberals are far more likely to whine and moan, while conservatives tend to want to "not pester" people. Liberals have more of a sense of entitlement? I dunno, but they seem much more likely to loudly complain when annoyed, and to raise cain with The Powers That Be, or at least that's the case with my liberal friends versus the conservative ones.
Does anyone have a picture of George and Laura, where Laura's in pink, and George is kissing her?
CONGRATS Kelly!!
I caught the end of Levin and just posted his approval on another thread. I trust him more than most in congress.
