Just surprised how many jumped without reading

LOL. Noob mistake. You'll soon learn that none of us read the articles. At least not until we've posted once or twice on the thread. You'll enjoy it here.

Merry Christmas.

I kinda knew it would be a tough contentious crowd, that I'd have to really be on top of my posts, and that I'd be called on any BS, however minor they may be.

Or you could just keep BSing authoratively like me and ignore the naysayers.

We don't care about winning those who are anti-Bush or pro fantasy. Those who love Michael Moore & Cindy Sheehan yet hate our nation and want to see us lose in Iraq.

Here is our message to them:

The problem is that Saddam was way too convincing for his own good.

I know, leaving all those gassed bodies lying around in various places, like Iran, and Northern Iraq, was a little over the top. Why even the Democrats, French and Germans were convinced he had the WMD's. What could we Conservatives have been thinking when we believed that "liar" Bush though./sarc.

for some reason they won't come out and tell the whole story.

Probably the big red "TOP SECRET" stamped on the front. I'm OK with secrets in the interest of national security, but when the information (like WMDs found in Iraq) is publicly available I would think you would every once in a while mention it.

All the same, I'm glad he's out there and taking a stand. His radio address Saturday was especially gratifying. He said it straight that the person(s) who leaked the info on the wiretapping have endangered national security. "Yesterday the existence of this secret program was revealed in media reports, after being improperly provided to news organizations. As a result, our enemies have learned information they should not have, and the unauthorized disclosure of this effort damages our national security and puts our citizens at risk. Revealing classified information is illegal, alerts our enemies, and endangers our country." Now I just want to see someone get locked up.

What is the meaning of life.

Are you asking for the meaning of life, the Universe and everything? or just life. I think it was 42. Thanks for the fish!

Well, yes---the headline caught my eye.

But, for some reason I DID follow the link, assuming I'd see a lot of JUICY comments here, and learn something about some new lefty, whiney tactics. (Troll persons get in here all the time (they are sort of fun to play with) and knowing what the opposition is "inspiring themselves with" is often useful.)

Thanks for posting the article. I rarely hit that website so I never would have caught it.

I was quite surprised when I got to the end of the article, somewhat amazed at the writer's own conclusion that GWB is "sacrificing himself".

Its a plausible explaination I have not surmised on my own about why the "quality of intelligence" reversal.

And like others, I don't understand why the GWB team hasn't made more noise about the weaponry spirited out of Iraq following Jay Rockefellers visit that spilled the beans.

So again, why the confession?

Bush has chosen to forfeit the PR battle at home in an effort to gain public support for winning the war abroad. Will it work? Only time will tell.

But remember, the left pushed his father into breaking his promise of “no new taxes” too, only to later successfully use it against him in his re-election bid.

Bush has it right in the war on terror. I’m not sure he has it right in the war against his political foes at home, who will never concede him anything positive, no matter what.

I've really wondered since last week why he said "But much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong.", when his team fought so hard to get it right (and in my mind, did just that).

This is an interesting conjecture.

Now President Bush is Lying: Why?

For the same reason you won't admit to your wife the dress makes her look fat when she asks you.
