Why is it the Vice President always seems to have twice as many papers as anyone else.

Must be the way he prefers to do business -- having the documentation handy (memory prod?). Good observation, snugs.

I just returned from Kristy's (Sabrina's mom). She made me open a Christmas gift from her early. It is an absolutely gorgeous, shimmery seafoam green muffler that she knit out of very soft yarn. What a nice surprise. She said, "You wear a lot of green and I thought it would go well with your coloring and your green eyes." How thoughtful. I love it.

Lately I've been seeing snips here and there about some new move against military chaplains invoking the Name of Jesus. I am not up on the issue. It is one more step in the parade to abridge the First Amendment. I am praying it goes down in flames. Big time.

It was difficult, because of the wounded, to prep for today's dose, having to study the photos closely. Photos of a whole lot of suffering.

Imagine being the one who orders the troops into combat. One would have to know he was acting under God's own blessing and leading; otherwise, I don't know how one would handle it.

Yes, very much so. From his recent remarks, you can tell that he is dreading the opening our SENATE will give al Qaeda. He knows the enemy is not idle for a minute and awaits the failure of this bill's renewal. May the good Lord hear his, and our, prayers to plug the hole our Senate threatens to create.
