Thank You Swiftees (Vanity)

While I am not a member of the Swift Boat Veterans and POW's for Truth, I was a financial and moral supporter of theirs during the last presidential election.  I will be forever indebted to them for standing up to that lying weasel "Hanoi" John Kerry.  I'm constantly reminded by stories here at FR about the bullet that we dodged, and I'm still completely astounded that he got as close as he did to being Commander In Chief of the US Armed Forces.  Thank you Dear God for summoning your angels to head off that disaster of a man.

My first ever visit to FreeRepublic was after seeing a link on the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth message forum.  I'm thankful to them for that as well!

So anyway, I thought maybe it'd be good for us all to remember just what it looks like when old soldiers arise to the occasion and give up their time and ease of mind to stand in harms way for their country.  THANK YOU SWIFTEES!  Every one of you is a true American Hero, and your Christmas gift to US pays off every single day!

Merry Christmas, God Bless the Swiftees, and God Bless the United States of America!

What really made my blood boil was when that schmuck John McCain called these great Americans "dishonest and dishonorable".

That's when he lost the '08 nomination.

I sent them three donations. It was money well spent.

I am pleased to note that I have not received any solicitations since.

Amen. I believe the Swiftees saved America.
Hear that, Kerry? THOSE men are the brave ones. Their commitment to exposing your fraud is seared, seared into my memory forever.
God Bless You, Swiftees. SOTG

I'm another old sailor who served at the Cam Rahn Bay Swift Boat support facility in 1970. I was proud to serve these heros.

I went on to complete a 26 year career in the Navy. During that time, I did run across a few junior officers like Kerry....but by and large the Navy has a pretty good system for culling them out. The ones they didn't manage to discharge seemed to be the folks that were political enough to be selected for Admiral.

Nicely done, and concur. I sent 150% more money to the SBVT than I did the Bush campaign, and I feel it was well spent.

I remember doing the screen capture for the "Friends" ad for SwiftVets.com -- I tried about 20 different frames of Kerry before I found one with the perfect nightmarish quality I was looking for...
