Rush: "Saddam and the Democrats, inseperable, ladies and gentlemen."

Can Saddam be made an honorary democrat before he's strung up by his gills?

"A bullet would've sufficed. Now he's being given a microphone and his spewed insanity gets to be heard and read by all."

I know how you feel, but have to disagree. I think it's better that he be exposed to the world, spewing his insanity while his victims testify to torture and murder, and THEN the bullet. Fair trial first, bullet second.

Now he's being given a microphone and his spewed insanity gets to be heard and read by all.

It's pretty entertaining, though. I'm bummed that the Saddam Follies has been postponed again to next month.

Seriously, that judge needs to clamp down and stop letting Saddam run the show. But in the meantime, it's pretty good humor.

I knew it! Hussain is a democrat. They all say the same thing.

His attorneys have the easiest job in legal history. All they have to do is watch the American news and repeat it for the court. Saddam could represent himself.

I'm glad he's still getting his daily DNC talking points.

Isn't ABC still looking for an anchor? And Saddam needs work. Either him or Reverend Al.

The Bible says that the devil is the "father of lies", thus Hussein is only aligning himself with his true father. No surprise here! No surprise the demorats are aligning themselves with him too.

"Saddam tries, but fails to outdo Democrats in attacking the Bush administration"

No, I don't think he has outdone them yet.

Saddam is not an American citizen and has not committed treason against our Nation.

Agreed re:judge needs to stop this, but I'm not humored.

For one thing, this only emboldens the terrorists and insurgents and thus does NOT support the troops. It's probably increasing insurgent membership rolls ("Hey look - there's our hero leader standing up to mighty America!!")
Finally, this guy is a Butcher. He slaughtered untold thousands of people. To see his sick a$$ up there flaunting it and justifying it is sickening.

""The problem is that the demnuts will believe this stuff 100%.""

The real problem is how many islamo-fascists and Iraqis will believe it. This trial is completely amateur hour. It is not good. Certainly there must be differences vs our procedural system, but when a defendant can stand up at any time and say anything to anyone and insult the judge, it's not a good indication of things to come.

Unless, 5 minutes after the end of the trial the judge declares him guilty, to be hung at sunrise......

Maybe he'll get the "Michael Moore Chair" next to Jimmy Carter at the next DNC confab.

Hopefully the Iraqis will slit his throat and we will hear no more from him.

Why would any sane court allow these silly tirades from a butcher like Hussein????

Uh....yeah, I know a little about what Saddam Hussein has done. I'm as disgusted and repulsed by him as anybody. I've seen some of his handiwork.

I do think your view on the Saddam Follies is a bit of an overreaction, but then that's just my opinion.

In my line of work, a sense of humor is an absolute necessity.

I've got one and I feel kind of sorry for people who get too twisted up about things over which they really have no control.

Take a chill pill and have a Merry Christmas. ;-)
