"Can you imagine the crap he would take from his fellow recruits for waving the card?"
Yep!
That's not new. I heard the Air Force's barracks are built to Feng Shui specs.
"It's true. There are other changes not mentioned in the article.
Martha Stewart has been hired as a design consultant. She will give the barracks a design makeover to impart a homey, stress relieving atmosphere.
New Marines will also be able to bake cookies in the newly added barracks kitchen when done with a hard day of drilling."
IBFTZ?
They do not. The person you work with misled you.
Try harder next time.
Snopes.com is usually a good site.

Don't post without using spellcheck feature.
Hahaha... you owe me a keyboard!
"I hated army basic training. I hated the drill instructors, "
I too hated all of it. I once questioned my DI's parentage and he took me behind the barracks and beat the ship out of me. The next time that I got a smart thought in my mind, I kept it there. However, there is no one that I'd rather have in my foxhole than that DI.
All honor to our brave and selfless military. I hope this story is not true. Our enemies don't honor "stress cards."
Everybody hated basic training. It's part of the plan. You're supposed to hate it. It sure serves well, though, in training soldiers in basic soldiering.
Well then, that settles it!
My wife has stayed on the Marines Moms web site for over 4 years now and I can say with little doubt that that group had anything to do with this crap.
I seriously doubt the validity of this post.
You should either defend yourself our recant your dubious posting if you plan on having any credability in the future. Or did you post and run?
Once you are used to stress you are more likely to perform better when being shot at.
"Yes it's true. A woman with whom I worked said her daughter was in boot camp...
Well then, that settles it!"
Not quite. It's not true until it's forwarded in an email. Once that happens, it is true, and will always be true. Moreover, it will be posted on FR again, and again, and again.
From FR, it will be further posted in countless emails, making it even more true.
