SICK OF PEOPLE IMPOSING THEIR RELIGOUS BELIEFS ON OTHERS

After reading all of the crap that people have been saying regarding Adult Private Social Clubs, I felt that I had to post an article and give my opinion. I am sick and tired of all the religous groups that are saying that there are drugs, prostitution, minors, non-consenting people, and just immoral people at these clubs! First of all, who do these people think they are to decide what is morally right or wrong for me? I believe that I have a good set of morals. I am a law abiding, tax paying citizen, I work full time and provide for my child; whom I teach to be courteous, respect his elders, be a hard worker, have respect for all of humankind as well as the earth, and not to 'cram' his opinions and beliefs down other people's throats. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing christianity, it's just that I'm so sick and tired of others trying to decide what is 'morally acceptable' for me. These people need to have their facts straight before running off at the mouth! And yes, I do belong to a several 'Swing Clubs', so I DO KNOW what I'm talking about. First of all, NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 IS ADMITTED (clubs do check id)!, no drugs are tolerated........no exceptions!, there is no prostitution!, safe sex is highly encouraged, NO MEANS NO...ie...club owners and managers DO NOT tolerate anyone getting out of line what so ever!, and many club members are good and decent people with the best of morals. In short, no one is making these religous people go to the clubs, so, they need to quit trying to close the Adult Private Social Clubs. What goes on inside of these clubs is perfectly legal. We're not imposing our way of life on ANYONE, so others need to quit imposing their way of life on all of us!

Nice strawman. How does kidnapping, rape, and murder of a child have anything to do with adults getting together in sex clubs? I mean, how is one even remotely related to the other?

Each of us is given a mind (except for democrats) with which we can make our own decisions and as long as those decision do not impose or force other humans into slavery, crime, murder or involuntary commitment to forces that would destroy the individual freedom of others go to it.

This woman is right. It's noones business what consenting adults do in a private club.

The same folks that are casting stones at this woman were most likely the ones who were mocking the NOW gang when they demanded to be able to join Augusta National Golf Club.

There's absolutely no difference between the two in my mind.

But, leave it to the 'culture nazis' around here to completely miss that point.

I'd say more about it, but I don't want to deal with the small minded prudes who seem to have taken over here lately.

It's good to see one or two people around here still have some understanding of what freedom of association means.

actually, by damning your social club as sinful, we stuck-up, religious types are making your club that much more exciting. It's the chance to violate taboos that draw people in - I will assume the actual sex acts are not unique to your club.

Interesting that you try to teach your children not to "cram" their opinions and beliefs down the throats of other yet you cram your values down the throat of your child, ie, courtesy, respect, a good work ethic etc. How judgemental you are. Can't you just let him/her be lazy, rude and disrespectful instead of trying to impose your ideas of what is morally acceptable.

Let alone give it anything? This is one bitter self absorbed person with no moral boundaries. This person is good for a laugh but not more than that. When done laughing ... someone to pity.

Telling people that they are going to hell if they don't stop their "evil" does not exactly mean you deserve a spot in heaven.

Besides, there is only one entity fit to judge people in that since, and it sure ain't of human composition

As someone pointed out, her parents (Brenda and Damon) were swingers (hopefully they learned their lesson and no longer are, but who knows anymore in this sick, twisted society of ours).

Allot of people like this cretin, claim to be Republicans but like other claims they are not what they pretend to be. It crosses political lines as well as religious etc.. To single out Republicans is absurd. For Demoncrats no boundaries are part of their credo - it's expected.
