The lisp was a dead giveaway. Does Ms. Gore have a clue?

Al Gore is "powerful"? In what way? I wonder what definition of "power" people are using. He's a loser.

But when she heard the Gores were moving into the St. Regis, she called me up and said she wants to sell her place so she can move to the St. Regis right away! Proof that losers attract one another.

Thing is festus....I believe there is a grain of truth in your sarcastic comment.
The photos I have seen of al gore in halloween costumes, etc, he electric face and demeanor has had me wondering about his 'persuasion' (along with certain other more subtle things one might associate with the alternative lifestyle).
I don't believe it is a stretch....not sure it matters either way, but he certainly gives me a very strong perverse vibe.

Who would have thought Al would ever be good for anything, let alone real estate prices.

How close is the nearest liqour store? Tipper isn't called that for no reason. She tipples more than a little.

Maybe he will run for governor of California.

"A client of mine just moved into the swanky Four Seasons a few blocks away, where the Mayor happens to be. It's a great place. But when she heard the Gores were moving into the St. Regis, she called me up and said she wants to sell her place so she can move to the St. Regis right away! I guess it's more exciting to live near a former VP than a current Mayor." This person and their money will soon be parted.

Perfect. CA has elected a long list of incompetents and misfits after Reagan left. The only things that might be even more appropriate for Gore would be mayor of SF or Speaker of the CA house.

California is the perfect place for Al Gore to rebirth himself, doesn't Gorby have his digs nearby? Still more isn't California the base of Gore's China money collection? His 'love story' world, tech inventions and that 'redwood' lumber he is so fond of all at his feet.
Guess we could say he is reenacting the "Beverly Hillbilly's" in the modern age.

"There's something about living near a person so powerful and important that really excites folks," he says. OK, this is where I stopped reding due to uncontrollable laughter
