Seems to me that if an employer receives an "error" notice from the IRS they are entitled to question the evidence. It's the same as misrepresenting one's qualifications/experience/education in a resume - grounds for termination.

BTW...re: immigration...I have had to avoid any and all border/immigration threads because there is so much vitriol. I told one of the regulars on that thread, that though they want to blame Bush totally...
the Congress is NOT likely to vote on any legislation for a while...because of the 2006 elections...this subject is like the "abortion" issue...politicians feel the need to sit the fence, if they can..
I, too, think Tony is "brave" to try to tackle the subject, but, alas---I think, just like this thread..there are quite opposite views, even within the Republican/conservative party.

There has been an agreement about water, between Mexico and the US...for years...something about sharing it for farmers and such..
In Texas we have to fight Mexico all the time to keep their side of the bargain...so I would't look to Mexico to "pay" for anything re: immigrants.
Shoot....they are having student protests in Calif. over the fact that illegals get to enroll in the universitys at "in state" tuition fees...but, if my son wanted to go there, he would have to pay "out of state"..

I think this is particular to California. I think the "Dream" thing is possibly worse.
About the MS and crutches...dang--that is bad.
I worker for years as a medical assistant in a Neurologist's office...most of our "regular" patients had MS...so I am very familiar with what you must be going through...
Hopefully, the crutches will go soon...and you don't have any bad exacerbations...
Oh..yeah...except the good news may be that if these students make enough of a "stink" that Dream bill might go away..
I know they have the same set-up here in Texas...and I hate it..because the universities in TExas are always full...so, there are a lot of Texas students, let alone other Americans students, that don't get it...but, illegals do.
