Remember, they keep referencing "numerous sources" and "current and former members of the intelligence community."

My bet is that a well known former member of the community, probably someone with a distinct Clintonista or Ramsey Clarke bent, was the original source and that folks like Judge James Robertson provided confirmation rather than being an original source. That doesn't mean that they weren't part of the original cabal plotting to damage US security interests, but they would have found a cut out to actually provide the initial feed to the news media.

Can you say Valerie Plame or Joe Wilson? I wonder if it's just a coincidence that they have just left the country?
