Why not just raise the minimum wage to $100 per hour? Then everybody will have lots of money.

There is no such thing as a California Republican.
Apparently, you're not all that familiar with California.

Under the plan, the hourly wage would rise from $6.75 to $7.25 in September and to $7.75 in July 2007
The state's lowest-paid workers already get more than the federal minimum of $5.15 per hour... Should we be celebrating that he isn't proposing a "living wage"?

Wow, that was quick!

"to propose a $1 increase in the state's minimum wage
after vetoing similar legislature this year," ====
He was doing fiscally conservative things, such as vetoing the minimum wage, put the reform propositions on the ballot, which all conservatives should have supported, but they stayed home or even voted against them. Conservatives deserted Arnold, when he was promoting the conservative agenda, so now they have nobody to blame but themselves.

"What a commie. Someone defeat this guy..."
Sure. In California, only someone far more liberal will defeat him. How will that help?

Whoops. That guy has been around for a while, too. I guess the mods have finally gotten sick of people hijacking threads to engage in gratuitous California bashing.

Conservatives deserted Arnold, when he was promoting the conservative agenda, so now they have nobody to blame but themselves. Wrong again, Fair Opinion. See post #19. Arnold said last September that he supported an increase--he just didn't want to do it by formula and give the Dems credit. He wanted to play Santa Claus himself to woo in all his Leftist followers.
You really should check the facts before trying to blame everything on those evil conservatives.
