So I guess she wants us to say:
"We're DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!"
There is no other way other than to acheive victory. Of course I think she would rather that Bush loses so he will look bad.

That's what I meant by, "Aim for mediocrity, it makes everyone feel better. The Democrats wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, even if it means capitulating to the terrorists.

I geuss Albright (or as a call her notsobright) goes to the leftest school of "If I say it it's OK but if you say it that's bad". Albright is all by herself a reason to never again give the keys of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to a democrat until they show some seriousness on national security.

Thanks, Madeline, for demonstrating the way you losers want the war to be perceived. When it comes time for the GOP ads to run, they won't even have to hire actors to role play. You and your liberal friends can be quoted verbatim and those words can be thrown back in your horrid faces.

The Dems talk "defeat" too much.

On and Madeline Not-So-Bright did a bang up job in her tenure? She's not fit to clean Condi's boots.I still have a mental picture in my head of the time she chased after Kim Jong Mentally Ill when he walked out of a meeting.I guess she was afraid he would not give her a new broach.

In an interview posted on the Democratic National Committee's web site, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright says she doesn't like the way President Bush "repeatedly" talks about achieving victory in the Iraq war. This from a woman who lost the war against Milosevic but declared victory anyway.

"'victory' is a dirty word to liberals." Not only victory but any word that is uplifting or positive connotation to it

"They clearly had some kind of a new pollster in the White House tell them that the word 'victory' had to be repeated endlessly," Albright griped"
Yeah! HOW DARE a president talk about victory in the middle of a war.
Let's impeach FDR and his VICTORY ships, VICTORY bonds and VICTORY parades.
Whatta way to run a war!!!!

Unfortunately, I think she really believes what she says. What an arrogant, stupid POS. By the way, is she related to Helen Thomas?

...You ask, what is our policy? I can say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.

Nasty ole bag. I have never been able to stand the sight of her.
And from another old senior that doesn't cuss, I just want to let go and tell the ole bag to "GO TO HELL".

A more civilized country would put her in prison or execute her for her many crimes.
